Hello! I'm planning a trip with my best friend for May (college graduation present...BEST present ever, right?), and it will be my first trip to WDW without my family. I have been 15+ times so far, so I have a very good understanding of the parks, rides, shows, restaurants, etc. Of course, with my family, we do all the family-centered things and spend a lot of time at the parks.

Being 22 and 23, my friend and I are hoping to shake things up and do some more "grown up" activities. I have heard about Raglan Road being quite fun, and we're considering doing a walk-around-the-world at EPCOT. Of course, we plan to be safe and smart (so no BASE jumping off of Cinderella's Castle for us!). We also don't want to spend an enormous amount of money on show tickets or anything. Oh, and we will be staying at SSR (my parents are DVC owners), so we have easy access to all the parks and Downtown Disney and such!

Thanks for your help! I appreciate it so much! :)

Congrats on your graduation! This trip sounds like it is well deserved!

We typically do the "drinks around the world" but remember to do it responsibly - you don't want to get stuck at the exit of the park needing to chug your drink - it can end badly I assure you.

There is a hysterical book out now called The Dark Side of Disney and it lists some of the more "non-family" type activities that might occur in a Disney park.

Other bars that are good are in the 50's Prime Time Cafe and the Tambu Lounge at the Polynesian. The beach at the Polynesian at night is a good hang out. The Boardwalk has some neat places and a nice nighttime atmosphere.

Enjoy your trip and let us know what you ended up doing!

It's also fun to sit outside Cap'n Jacks in DTD and have a margarita and people watch. Often there will be music from the stage nearby too. And it is an easy walk from SSR.
