Hi

Just wondering what I should ask for? Do I need to many all my requests now, or can I ring back nearer the time?

Is it worth paying a bit extra for a woods view rather than a standard? Are there any areas I should say I dont want?

Thanks!

This is what I requested for our woodsview room last year and we could see the castle and the fireworks from our balcony every night.

I requested on my woods view ressie:

MK Side
Upper Floor overlooking the otter pond
Bunk Beds (have to pay for this now)

If you do decide to book std view I would request to not be on the MK side as these rooms are over the dumpsters and delivery dock for Whispering Canyon.

Non MK Side rooms will lookout onto the roof but at least no dumpsters!

Enjoy the trip, the WL is a wonderful resort!

Wow. This is almost word for word what I requested for our upcoming trip. I thought being able to see the castle would be a pipe dream for us, but it looks like it can happen. Here's hoping!

OP, I'd probably pay a little more for the woods view than standard. It's not that much difference in price and at least you know you won't see a parking lot.

But if you're staying at WL for the location, the resort itself and convenience to MK, and don't care that much about the view (we usually don't care that much ourselves), you might find standard to be just fine. Usually standard rooms are closer to the lobby than other room categories, which is something in their favor (unless you really can't take the noise from Whispering Canyon).

Thanks - I requested as you suggested.

But stupid me - the thing I was certain about was that I wanted a King bedded Room, but I forgot all about it when I rang! Can I add this to the reservation nearer the time?

Thanks

Yes, you can add requests later.

However, be mindful that the more requests you make, the less likely you are to receive any of them. Better to prioritize requests, beginning with the most important. If you make too many requests, you increase the likelihood of conflicting, and therefore often negating, requests.

Not sure if you got anything other than a Standard but I was told a Standard does not have king beds. Too bad b/c that's what I have for this Dec and it's just the two of us on our anniversary.

Also remember:
About 37 Lodge rooms with King beds double as the barrier-free (handicap-accessible) rooms and have a large shower with no tub.
So if you request a King Size Bed also add with bath tub.
