Going to be spending some time in Paris, considering a trip to DLP

Hi guys

Love the board, lots of great information

But I'm curious and just have to ask some questions of my own.

I'm going to be spending about 12 days in Paris with my mom and we're just going to be doing touristy stuff. Originally Disneyland wasnt in the schedule, but we remembered how much we liked the Disneyland in California, we're now considering this.

So, that stuff aside, is just a day trip worth it? We just really want to see the park and hit the rides pretty hard. But the one day pass (40 euros or so, I think) isn't a park hopper. Is the one day pass good to see all of the classic disney stuff?

Do you strongly suggest to just splurge for the two day pass (which is park hopper) and try to see everything, or can a one day pass do it for the basics and classic stuff?

Also, we're going to be IN Paris (not in outskirts. Somewhere in the city near the Louvre). Is there any particular way to GET to DLP that's cheaper or easier than any others?

Is DLP actually IN Paris, or is it on the outside of the city a bit?

I looked in the other threads for getting there, but most information was for JUST visiting DLP or coming from the UK or some such.

ALSO, do they mostly speak English in the park, or is it French?
How's the food? I was told it's mostly American(ized) food (like Disneyland food). Is it expensive?

Also, I'd be there in about a week and a half from today (mid May). What should I expect in terms of lines? Are they bad there?

I guess that's all for now

Thanks, and sorry if these questions are basic and/or annoying. >_>

Thanks again :thumbsup2

Hello,

I can tell you that DLP is about 40 km outside of Paris.
You can check food prices here:

http://www.dlpfoodguide.com/

You can expect to pay more for food at Disneyland than elsewhere. That's common sense... it'd Disney!

I've never been to Disneyland, but my guess would be that if you are there during the week, it will be less crowded. Be aware that the 17th of May is a holiday, though.

The other questions I'll leave to the experts.

Hi Faramir and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, posting guidelines can be found here and details regarding help on signatures here

Sounds like you have a great trip in Paris lined up :)
One day in DLP would allow you to hit Disneyland Park but a two hopper would allow you more chance to see both parks and take in lots of the detail :goodvibes
