We are going down to Disney world on April 25 thur May 3 and will be staying at the Carribean Beach (5 days) and Old Key West (3 days). We have 2 kids. Our daughter is almost 3 and our son is 15 months. Is there a lot of things for all of us to do together.

We took our DD when she was 17 months & then 32 months. She loved it!

The sights & sounds are what they'll appreciate the most IMHO! We concentrated on the MK especially!

Characters can be great (I would book PSs for a couple of the character meals). What are your DS & DD's favorites?

At 17 months our DD liked chars. at a distance but not close up. She LOVED them ALL at 32 months:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

A couple of suggestions are:
1. Take plenty of breaks, don't try to do it all non-stop. This should not be a commando type visit (like when just adults go).
2. The DD & DS should love the pools, great mid day breaks for EVERYONE (we stayed at the POR & CBR respectively & there are several). We bought our DD a life vest & she loved it!
3. Take infant/toddler snacks, food & supplies into the parks, as we found the snack/food selections somewhat sparse (diapers are expensive).
4. Take autograph books & cameras for character interaction (as well as all the other great memories)! The CMs are usually very helpful no matter what age the guest & will take the time for this if you have an interest.
5. After all IMHO, you are going for yourselves & the memories of your DD & DS's experience!
(IMO your DD will remember, your DS won't. Our DD definately did, as she can hardly wait for her trip at 42 months in October!)

Good luck & have a GREAT trip:D

Hope these comments help;)

There are a lot of rides, shows etc that you can all do together! Anything without a height restriction everyone can go on. MK and Epcot have the most rides a family can do together, MGM has more shows and their main rides are not for small children( TOT & R&R). There are lots of things they will love at all four parks. A word of caution about shows. The 3-d shows can scare small kids. It's tough to be a bug can even scare big kids. The other two are not quite as bad. Also remember that you can do baby swap to allow both adults to ride the things that the kids are too small for. Have a great trip and come back with more questions.

Thanks for the great ideas. We have 2 Charater meals planned. The first one is Cinderella's Breakfast and the 2nd is Chef Mickey's. I'm a CM at the Disney Store and so I know some of the stuff, but the last time I went was in '98 and that was without kids. My husband is worried that there won't be much for all of us to do. This is his first time. I think he'll like it. He's not a die hard Disney fan. We leave in 2 weeks!!! The countdown has begun.:Pinkbounc
