We are going to Florida in August and have been looking at airfare for a few months. Will there be more flights added to the various companies? And will prices go lower closer tome or would I be better off booking now. HELP :confused3

I will be flying out of Pittsburgh! Right now for 4 tickets the best price for 4 is just under $900 ! I really would like to spend a little less than that!

Thanks

I would say, look NOW and book if you see a reasonable fare. If you fly out of PHL, look at Southwest, download Ding program. I do not think they released August fares yet though.

Is 811.00 unreasonable for r/t to orlando from Pittsburgh! I can get that now on Airtran! Will better deals come out?

we have found tickets on jet blue they were around 800 and we have a credit of alittle over 250 so we will pay like 500 to 600
i dont wanna keep waiting we have already book our room we dont think we will find anything lower

Definitely download the DING! program. They just had a DING! fare from Pittsburgh to Orlando yesterday for $49 each way! It was good for April and May I believe but if you're patient you'll get a good deal for August. Good luck! :goodvibes

I downloaded the Ding program, based on reviews on here, a couple of months ago! But it is killing me waiting to book August airfare so late. I want to book now but $800 r/t for 4 seems high! I am not a patient person LOL

If you book on Southwest and then a lower fare comes out (Ding!, internet special) they will give you a credit that you can use within a year. If you are planning on flying again, you can book the Southwest fare now, that way you know you have the tickets.
You can only book up to August 3 on Southwest. I am waiting for Aug 21 to come out. I am hoping it is this week. :rolleyes1

So would it be safe to say that I should book southwest when my August dates open. Then when or if I can get a ding....I can get the lower price? How do you do that! I want to make sure that I get a n/s flight and I would like to have the tickets to get my schedule worked around our flight times. I would appreciate any help on this subject. Thanks

We live in Pgh. too and I'm always looking for low rates. I logged onto Travelocity and signed up for the Fare Watcher program (free). They E-mail me when the rates change by more than $25. Last week there was round trip tickets being booked from Pgh. to Orlando for $123 per person.
