We are leaving on Sept 8th and coming back on Sept 17th. I know, I maximize my stay when I go :). We are doing all 4 disney parks, Busch Gardens, and both Universal Parks. I'm going with my wife, baby (10 months), Mother, Mother in law, brother in law and wife and their 2 kids (22 and 13). My questions are this:

How will the crowds be a this time?
Am I making a mistake by taking a child so young?
We are staying in a rental home 3 miles from Disney, is this good or bad?

Thanks

I can not help you with 2 of your questions as I have never gone this time of yr but hear it is a great time to go and also have never stayed at a vacation home. However I can help with the baby question. I have 3 children my oldest is now 6 but her first trip to WDW she was 9 months, my middle girl was 4 months and my youngest was 1 yr for their first trips. THEY LOVED IT. there is so much to take in and to look at. Do a charecter meal!! Just take it slow, and use your baby as an indicater as how she is doing. She will let you know. Be awre of the baby stations in Disney. There is one in every park. It is great, They have seperate changing areas, feeding rooms for Mom's only weho breast feed, rooms with high chairs and tables to feed at. Restrooms for adults. They sell baby essentials here as well( kind of expensive but in case of emergency it is there. ) Enjoy your trip.
