i am going on 6th may and i am trying to finalise my meals. i want to book in advance to guarantee a slot.

I have read so many things and i am now confused, I am going tues to fri and want to book an evening meal for wed and thurs and a late lunch on fir.

I want to do cafe mickey, the princess restaurant (sorry mind gone blank) and lucky nugget.

Was thinking cafe mickey wed eve, i have read the characters only come out at set times and i was thinking of eating about 6 as children are 4 and 2, would this be a good time.

Was then thinking lucky nugget thurs eve but am i right in thining they dont do evenings and if they dont and we had a late lunch again do the characters have set times.

then princess meal a late lunch on fri before we get ready to go home so same question applies really

thanks

First of all Hi  and welcome.

As far as I know, unless it is high season and the Park open very late, then neither the Lucky Nugget or the Auberge de Cendrillon (Princess meal) will be open in the evening, so you will have to have your meals at lunchtime in these restaurants. However the characters will come out all the time that there are people eating, so you will get to see them. They come out, do the rounds, go back in and then about 10-15 minutes another set come out.

In the Auberge this means the Princesses are out, then next come the 2 mice, Suzy and Perla, then next the Princesses etc.

I believe the characters in Cafe Mickey come out from about 6 or 6.30.

thanks for info

will def book for 6 in cafe mickey, and will do a lunch in lucky nugget and princess will try and make it a late lunch so dont have to have much for tea then!!

thanks again

Great choices and idea :thumbsup2

just looking at menus and prices for princess meals, it said lunch was between 11.30 - 4 and seemed quite a bit cheaper than the dinner menu and it didn't say anything about princesses, where as on the dinner menu it stated princesses, so just trying to make sure the princesses do appear over the lunch period, and also at lucky nugget do the characters appear over the lunch period.

thanks

In May the Lucky Nugget and Auberge de Cendrillon will only be open for lunch. The characters definitely appear at lunchtime, I have eaten at both. LN is a buffet, while Auberge is a gourmet 3 course meal which includes bread, a cocktail, wine, water and coffee. The food there is stunning.

thanks for that, it really helps. with Auberge de Cendrillon i have been looking at the menus and i have two daughters 2 and 4 is the food o.k for them. my 4 year old is desperate to do this meal.

We went in February, and they were doing a customer survey after the meal so they could have changed it. My one criticism was the children's food which for my children at least needed to be slightly less fancy. They had a drink with some kind of fancy straw in (which they loved!). There were fresh bread rolls and butter while we were ordering. The children's starter is tomato and mozzarella (sliced) salad - my two (6 & 2) didn't touch this, however they had lots of bread! Then DS chose tortellini, which had lots of "green bits" in he didn't like but it was easy enough to remove them. DD had chicken which she liked but as she was only 2 she doesn't eat that much. Then the dessert is truly splendid - there are pics in the Auberge FAQ sticky I think. A cinderella's slipper in white chocolate, with a little strawberry milkshake, a fruit kebab and a marshmallow kebab drizzled with chocolate.
DS was dressed as a knight and DD had a princess dress and cloak, and the princesses (and the waiter) really made a fuss of her. DS was given a knight's helmet as we left and DD a sparkly magic wand.
DD really loved it and DS liked it too, to my surprise. Both DH & I are foodies and the food there was the best we ate in the whole park & village. Although it was expensive, when you factor in a cocktail and 3 glasses of wine (a different colour with each course!) it was reasonable.
We have already booked to go there again in May.

I would recommend going to Cafe Mickey for as soon as it opens. That way you won't have to queue for ages to get seated & as there are not many people in yet, the characters will spend ages at your table. This happened with us last summer & it was ages before we could even get round to ordering because all the characters were visiting us and we were too busy taking photos!

By the way, we will be there the same time as you, but haven't planned yet for where we will eat & when.

This is the dessert - taken when we ate there a week ago today (sigh....the memories.:) ) They haven't changed the children's menu - my dtr tried the chicken this time and liked that - but she is 10 so is a bit more adventurous with her food. They still give out the helmets and sparkly wands too.

Also if you don't want alcohol they serve a non-alcoholic cocktail and then water through the meal, so the price you see (55 Euros per adult) should be all you pay.

I must admit I was very taken aback to keep being offered wine - I didn't realise it was included and I wouldn't have ordered wine in the middle of the day. But it was very nice!!

thanks for the info guys, i think i will have to book it even if the kids just eat the bread rolls!!! my daughter would never forgive me if we didn't my 4 year old is taking her sleeping beauty dress so fingers crossed she is there when we go my 2 year old has her snow white one but isn't as fussy to which princesses she sees!! this is going to be our treat for the fri as it's are last day so going to have a late luncg so not rushing at dinner time, i cant wait now and after see the picture of the kids dessert, i wish i could have one of those!!

thanks

Yes I rather fancied the kids' dessert! Although the adult one is very special too.

Perfect timing! I was just trying to explain blackcurrants (rather than blackberries) to my kids and now I can just point to the picture and pretend they're black!
