Going from World Showcase/Epcot to HS

We just found out that the Stars Wars fireworks show will still be going on when we are there later this month. We have a 550 reservation for in Japan and would like to try to make it to HS to see the show. What would be the easiest way to get there?

Take the boat or walk. Walking would probably be a bit faster.

From World Showcase there is an exit near the UK pavilion called the International Gateway. It takes you to the Epcot Resort Area (Boardwalk, Yacht & Beach Club, Swan & Dolphin hotels). There is a boat from that entrance that goes to HS, but it stops at each of those hotels so it takes a while. There is also a walking path that runs alongside the canal. It's about a mile, should you want to do that. Either of these options would likely be faster and easier than walking to the front of Epcot to get a bus.

We just got back Sunday. We walked HS to EP several times and found it quite easy and quick. We beat the boat and got some extra walking in.

We usually stay at Beach Club Villas. We always walk to HS. We find it quicker than waiting for the boat. Plus, the round trip walk is about 4000 extra Fitbit steps.

Glad I opened this thread. I forgot I have HS in the morning in our November trip and after our lunch ADR at HS, we have FP+ at Epcot.

And if you are just too dog tired to walk the whole way you can do a combination of walking, boating. There is also a little path after you leave the IG toward BC/YC that goes under the bridge (it's to the left) this will cut out the big ole hill. Sometimes if I've done the walk more than once in a day (yes I hop back and forth between HS and Epcot multiple times a day) I'll walk to the YC boat stop and ride the boat from there, it only stops at Swan/Dolphin after that and doesn't take too long. I'll do the reverse sometimes when leaving HS and take the boat to either Swan/Dolphin or YC just to rest my poor feet and walk the rest of the way. All sorts of combinations and it all depends on your timing and if the boat has just arrived or just left.
