Please can somebody tell me what to expect :)?
We didn't really look into it before booking haha but I hear it's nice and cheap!

It's certainly not cheap!!!

Here's the menu: http://www.dlrpmagic.com/planning/dining/restaurant-menus/cafe-mickey/

Many people share a Pizza between 2 adults to save money.

You can see some pictures of the restaurant here: http://www.photosmagiques.com/gallery/disney-village/cafe-mickey/

It's a character meal. There are 2 floors in the restaurant and normally there's 2 characters out per floor. They'll work their way around all of the tables. Once they've done a circuit of the room they'll go away and after a while 2 more will come out.

They normally stay for a couple of minutes and will pose for pictures and sign autographs.

On a normal visit you'll probably see around 6-8 characters. On our last trip we saw: Mickey, Pluto, Chip, Dale, Smee, Hook, Eeyore and a yellow rabbit (I don't know who it was :rotfl:)

Some of the characters are quite fun and will play games. On our first visit Chip n Dale sat on the table next to us and stole our food. My son loved it!

yellow rabbit (I don't know who it was :rotfl:)

Rabbit. From Winnie the Pooh. ;)

The number of characters has gone down a lot in the last month. It's 5 - 6 average now with the standard cast mostly (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy etc.), sometimes with the Pooh characters thrown in.

We saw mickey, goofy, Pluto, tigger and Pinocchio last Friday. x
We shared a pizza and a garlic bread and had some of one of our groups birthday cake for dessert between 2 adults and a 3 yr old and it was more than enough and DH is a big eater :)

It isn't the cheapest character meal but its also far from the most expensive, the food isn't amazing but we love the atmosphere so it's always a must do on our trips. On our last trip we saw Mickey, Minnie, chip and dale, king John, and a few others I can't remember the names of at the moment. Definitely something you should do at least once, even if you pass on the 3 course meal option (which we enjoy) and just have pizzas etc. :)
