Are you Goofy enough to take on the biggest challenge in WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon history?

With the Half Marathon taking place on Saturday, and the Marathon run on Sunday, several athletes are taking the ultimate challenge and running them both. If you are looking for a new way to experience the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon Weekend, we invite you to be a part of Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge. Athletes who complete both the Half Marathon and the Marathon will receive the first ever Goofy Medal, in addition to receiving the Donald Medal for the Half Marathon and the Mickey Medal for the Full Marathon. The challenge has been made, you too can be Goofy enough to accept! To be a part of the first ever Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge, simply sign up for both the Half Marathon and the Marathon!

I am thinking seriously about doing both...yes, yes, I am totally crazy but I have done the marathon twice and thought it might be fun to do something different this year. Well actually I'll do anything to go the the world even run 39.3 miles!
I'm slowly talking my DFIL into doing it with me. He's done a double like this a couple times, and says that the training is different, and to not count on doing either race fast, but it's totally doable.

We should start an official thread for those of us that are going for the GOOFY!!!!!
