Hi folks!

I will be arriving at DLP on 05/27 and leaving 05/29.

On 04/13/2006 I called and tried to order my Dream AP over the phone (so I could then book discounted room) but they said they do not do that anymore.

I had to request a brochure that had the AP form on it (in French) but that I should get the brochure within 10 days.

Just counting business days, today is day 12 (I didn't count Saturdays), and no brochure. So I have no hotel room reserved for my arrival.

Does anyone have a copy they can FAX me? It would be to the US...

I'm getting way to nervous!!!

There has been a few holidays recently which would be counted as non working days :confused3 good luck..hope it gets sorted for you :grouphug:

Fingers crossed it arrives soon, 10 days is obviously standard delivery time, I got the same message when I requested mine, still waiting too, although I'm not as desperate for it as you, should mine arrive, then by all means I can fax it to you. :goodvibes

Thanks for all the pixie dust! I need it!

I took Cyrano's advice and sent an email with the background of the problem, so we'll see how it goes!!!

Thanks!

:goodvibes

I hope you get it all sorted soon and understandably you are in an anxious situation.

I can only add to the anxiety in that I recently booked my August holiday and will be buying AP's. You can only buy AP's upto 30 days in advance of arriving in DLP (not a problem for you) and was told even if I did that, they were not eligible for hotel discounts for the first visit!! This was from my local travel agent, who was speaking to Disney to arrange my booking whilst I sat there.

Hope you get some answers soon.

Sorry but I think both your travel agent and CM got this one wrong. Others have ordered their annual passports so that they could then arranged discounted room rates. I've found sometimes that I have needed to phone a few times since the CRM office do not always seem to know how to deal with annual passports

Hello! It's been awhile since I jumped back in, but I do recall back in January of this year someone posted a link to the PDF of discounts for hotel rooms using an AP (the discounts were for Spring 2005)

Does anyone have the current info, or could point us in the right direction? Thanks!

Here is link to current annual passport magazine that has discounts on it http://www.disneylandparis.com/fr/passeport_annuel/pdf/enviedeplus_10.pdf

:teeth: Thanks! I knew that it would still be friendly and responsive over on the DLRP boards!!! Love the instant responses....

Well,

Day 22 is here and STILL no brochure, and NO response at all to the email I sent. It is now less than 3 weeks before I get there....and I leave in a week for the beginning of the trip (touring Europe with my sister!).

I guess I just make the hotel reservations, get my AP when I get there, and lose the discount. This is really disappointing.

I'm going to try calling again this morning but I don't hold any hope of getting a better answer.

:sad1:

oh dear..that is not good.. :grouphug: hopefully you can sort out some accomadation, you don't want to be left dissapointed after coming such a long way.
Good luck.

I have received my annual passport form today and as I have decided to get them when I arrive I’m happy to post it on to you. If you think you have time to get it sorted before you go.
PM me if you would like me to.

Liz (and all)

Thanks so much for the offer! I still have not received mine, but what I have done is gone ahead and made my hotel reservations and I'll see what happens when I get there.

I was getting rather disappointed because not only had I spoken with them on the phone about this, but also had sent an email had gotten no response from either!

Well, wouldn't you know, yesterday (Friday), I got back to my office after a meeting and there was a VOICEMAIL from someone at DLP apologizing that I had not received my brochure, and explaining that at this point it would be too late to go that route - but they recommended getting my hotel room, then once I get to the park, get my AP and CALL BACK BEFORE I check in and they could adjust the hotel room.

Now, I am a bit doubtful this would work out - partly because the first thing I will want to do is go to my hotel, unpack, freshen up, etc. before I go to the park. BUT they redeemed my faitih in them because they did TRY and they DID call!

Also, when I called to make my hotel reservation, the young lady I spoke with was simply DELIGHTFUL and so helpful. She also apologized for my inconvenience and hoped it work out for me. She asked if I knew when my plane arrived, and then proceeded to give me the schedule for the VEA shuttle :goodvibes She just seemed to go out of her way where she could.

Left me with a warm and fuzzy again :goodvibes

So, I am back to be super-excited about my brief 2 day trip at the end of May.

Thanks again everyone for the Pixie dust! It didn't work the way I was hoping, but it did appear to a bit!

Oh I am glad that things have sort of worked out for you Jan, and that at least you do have somewhere to stay now.

Here's a bit more :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: that things work as you wish once you get there.

well at least you can start to look forward to your visit :goodvibes
good luck :wizard:

Glad you're sorted Jan :thumbsup2

My AP brochure and application arrived this morning, I can fax you a copy on Monday if you want, but if they've promised to sort out the discounts when you get there, it might just complicate things - if you do want a copy just let me know :goodvibes
