Going during Mardi Gras. Crowds ?

I am a newly for US and IOA. Will it be more crowded on the day of Mardi gras? We do not intend to see the concert or parade , will the rides be open during that time?

I think it depends on the night. We went on Feb 7th and it wasn't bad at all, but last Saturday was insane! 90 minute wait for Rip Ride Rocket, and 30 minute wait for Shrek (!).

OK Thanks. MKTO is playing. I haven't the slightest idea if they will be crowded or not. LOL. Wasn't sure who they were until my son told me!!
