I decided to be bold on my last trip to Disney & try various Japanese candy from the store in Epcot. I loved the HiChew, the chocolates in a 9 pack, & the disolvy (I know it's not a real word, bear with me, folks) candy that came in a 10 pack. I tried to find it after I got home. :sad2: I know, silly me. :headache: I tried to search google using the pic & had no luck. I scoured the web reading page after page of japanese candy reviews only to be unable to find it. Does anyone know what it's called?! If I need to post this elsewhere, PLEASE let me know! Also, none of the Asian store in my area have it. I also think I managed to offend all of them by even asking. :rolleyes1

Well, like I said the people in every store seemed upset that I asked. I don't know if I some how came across wrong. :confused3 My beau knows Japanese, but doesn't read it. I also tried to get Google to translate & it wasn't happening. I wonder if I could ask a restaurant owner? I live near University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. I'll check there! That's a great idea. Thank you.

I did post this in the Tokyo thread. I just didn't know how to delete the one here.

What you've got there is called, "Ramune" fruit candy.

The site AsianFoodGrocer is currently out of stock. I'm not sure what company manufactures this, but you can try asking the folks at Oyatsu Cafe (on Facebook) to try and track them down.

Hope this helps.

is this the one that comes in the long line of bags? If so I have a few left over from my last trip, I wasn't impressed. If you're in the US, post me your address and I'll send it over.

Thanks y'all, but a wonderful User already gave me websites. I placed a massive order. The sites were great b/c they had Saki for sale on them, too. :lovestruc I'm in love. :lovestruc

@Eyehartdisney: that is super sweet of you, but I've already got some on the way. Last time I got candy on a trip that I didn't really like, I gave it to my siblings & told them I got 'em souvenirs. :rotfl:

@nikkori: Yes, it's definitely Ramune. The problem I was running into is that the web kept giving me the wrong brand. You are completely correct about the fruit part, but all google would show was for the gummy Ramune. :confused3

Oh, just so y'all can browse, too:
