Going back to WDW for Liam's 9th Birthday! 5/29-6/3 WE ARE BACK!!!

So I wanted to post this pic before I headed out to take the kids to school. I will be back later to reply to the other posts.

This is a picture of what I woke up to in the morning.

*shudder* We are to be getting 5 to 8 inches tomorrow. :sad2:

We went for dinner in 2009 and I left hungry. The kids didn't, neither did DH ... but it just wasn't very good IMO. But I'd totally be on board for a breakfast there! I agree that it would be pretty awful to mess up a breakfast. :lmao:

See, I and my DD would be just fine. Anything I didn't try to cook is AWESOME. and yes, after all the bad reviews I gave up my supper CM, and was lucky enough to be able to grab the breakfast CM. Rather try a different place for breakfast than have a bad supper.

Oh wow!!! Bundle up and stay warm! And just keep telling yourself that you'll be in WARM Florida soon!!!

43 more days for me, and only 1 month 1 week and 4 days for you and Liam! :woohoo:

I can TOTALLY understand that. In fact, when we left off via Pm's I had been awake way way too long. :headache: being Sick is draining!

I know what you mean. Even cough medicine is not working well with this cough. I can't sleep because I am coughing, than the coughing wakes up the baby and he is keeping me up. :headache:

See, I always go SW. when I did my booking it was pretty close Airtran vs SW, but then I took in account checked bags. You have to pay for them with Airtran. with adding 40 bucks for just a bag each for DD and I... well that shoved us back to SW for sure. Esp since I like checking in at the resort for flying home, and then I don't have to worry about paying baggage fee's via CC over the phone ahead of time. No fees = no worries.

At the time SW was about $300 each way for each of us, which would had ben about $1200 dollars for two people to fly back and forth from Chicago to Florida:scared1: It cost us $430 for both of us on AirTran. Since I am only doing one checked bag it was definalty better financially. Maybe I just caught SW on a bad day.:confused3

When you where checking for flights, did you remember to look out of Milwaukee as well? sometimes I get cheaper flights out of milwaukee than Midway or ohare. :confused3 Just things to keep in mind for future trips!

I didn't even think about looking into Milwaukee until after I booked the flight. I will definalty check out both airports for future flights (or all three if you talk about Ohare)

We both are flying Midway too.. that is funny! Could have nearly ended up on the same plane with our plans being so close together and all. :rolleyes1

It's a small world after all. . .:rolleyes1

of course, DD and I are SOOO excited too! :woohoo: :dance3: :cheer2:

I mean, I've had the offer out there on two threads (June 2011 and Gaydays 2011) and no one took me up on it. I was feeling bad about having to drop from 5 to 2, but now not only do I got table mates, but REALLY AWESOME tables mates! (and I only need to drop down one person on the ressie! :yay: )

I am so glad that we were both able to help each other out. Must have been fate.:thumbsup2

besides, what else would a fellow Z-B grad do but share? :wizard:

Go ZeeBee's!!!

That is funny about your older DS! :lmao:

I would esp love it if one of those prizes was a night in the castle.... :cloud9:

I am totally with you, I would drag my son kicking a screaming into that castle if we got to stay there.:lmao:

and I am just sharing in the magic of Disney with two very awesome people! :confused3 Seriously, I should be thanking THEM for coming!

Ahh, your so sweet you are making me blush.:flower3:

Oh, c'mon, you go from one extreme to the other on these Corrine. :lmao::rotfl2:

B. Jiminy Cricket

However, I'd like to see a Genie version. He could randomly poof people in the audience into crazy things. Oh the shenanigans of a genie. :rotfl:

I thought I would throw in a couple of easy ones to keep you all intrested. I'll try to make the next one harder.:lmao::rotfl2:

And I'd take free stuff anyday! So a free prize every 40 secs, I'd be down for that to celebrate 40 years! :thumbsup2

That's awesome to hear about Chef Mickey's! Liam wil have a blast there! (I thought the food was mediocre at best, but the characters were just too awesome to not want to go back!)

I heard a lot of people say the food wasn't that great. I think it would take a lot to mess up breakfast foods. Even I, the guy the can't do mac and cheese out of the box correctly, can cook breakfast!

I have heard some pretty bad reviews about lunch and dinner here as well, so I am glad it is for breakfast. My family had breakfast there in 2009. It was basic breakfast foods (eggs, sausage, mickey waffles, fruit) and the kids loved the inter action with the characters. The first pic in this thread is at Chef Mickey's.:thumbsup2

Singledad: "You want to come over for dinner?
Corrine: Uhmm, that's alright Scott, why don't we go to Mickey D's.:lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2:

We will be in the 30's as of Wednesday and you guys just a couple of days later.:woohoo: Before you know it we will get some great Mickey Mail. Can't wait.

I can not believe it is snowing up there! My dad and stepmom live out in plainfield and said it was snowing! Wasn't it just in the 80s a couple of days ago?! :confused3

Ahh, your so sweet you are making me blush.:flower3:

See, that's exactly why I think DH and the kids loved it. I didn't cook it. :lmao: (Yes, I confessed on another PTR that I've considered auditioning for Worst Cooks in America.)

I'd totally be game for going back for breakfast sometime - maybe one year when we're on the DxDDP. :thumbsup2

OK, so this one was kind of easy, but than again I haven't seen Wishes so it was something I didn't know.:confused3

As all of you seemed to have known, the answer is:

b.) Jiminy Cricket

Wishes is a nighttime spectacular that combines magical moments from Disney films with spectacular pyrotechnic effects. It is many times the size of its predecessor, the fantasy in the Sky fireworks show (whick had a run for 27 years before Wishes replaced it in October 2003). In fact, Wishes is the largest pyrotechnic display ever staged in MK. Narrator Jiminy Cricket (aka Pinocchio's conscience) takes us through a story about making wishes come true: "I bet a lot of you don't believe that --about a wish coming true, do ya? Well, I didn't either. Of course, I'm just a cricket, but let me tell ya what changed my mind. Ya see, the most fantastic, magical things can happen--and it all starts with a wish!"

Somehow I got way behind! My internet has been down and that has put me behind...it is hard enough keeping up with my own PTR right now! It was funny reading through that I don't appear to alone with internet woes!!

Your plans look so good for each park! And I loved your purchases! I also enjoyed the trivia questions! What fun!!

And snow today?!?!?!? It is in the 80s here and this past Saturday we were freezing...at 71 degrees! :rotfl: It was very windy though!! :rolleyes1

Just rub it in why don't you!!!!:lmao::lmao: Funny thing is that the snow is pretty much gone since we are in the 40's now. Supposed to be in the 60's this weekend. Yea!!!!!!:thumbsup2

Glad to see you back TinksThree, glad you like the Trivia.

Here is Question #9.

Hopefully you don't find it to easy Lidian.:lmao::rotfl2:

Approximately how fast do the rockets on the Space Mountain roller coaster go?

a.) 15 mph
b.) 28 mph
c.) 55 mph
d.) "Faster than the speed of light"

Did You Know?

The entire flume system on Splash Mountain can be drained in 5 minutes and totally refilled in just over 20.

My guess is c) 55 mph. This is based on the feel of the ride along with my knowledge of coaster speeds at 6 flags Great America.

eta: I fully admit i googled this after i posted.... now to wait to see if people follow my lead, or don't... cause i am not telling you if i am right or wrong! mawahahaha!

I'm guessing B.28 mph because I think I read somewhere that it does not go as fast as you would think.

Great job with these, Corrine!
B. I am going with 28 mph. I think it feels faster, though, because of the darkness.

So I wanted to post this pic before I headed out to take the kids to school. I will be back later to reply to the other posts.

Can you believe it. Snow on April 18th.:scared1:

Wow! Winter just won't go away, will it??? On Saturday when we were picking up bags for our Personal Care Items Drive for Girl Scouts, it was 44 degrees and drizzling. Sunday it was back up in the high 60's so we dodged that bullet here in MO. :cool1:

So thoughtful for singledad to share his table. It will be a wonderful DISmeet and am really looking forward to pics. :lovestruc. :woohoo:

Looking foward to the next trivia question and Disney facts.popcorn::
