Going back to WDW for Liam's 9th Birthday! 5/29-6/3 WE ARE BACK!!!

Thanks for links to both of the web sites. I enjoyed reading them both. Especially the one about the grave yard before the ride. We skipped that when we went so I did not have a chance to read these. I did see the pet grave yard when we left. But as I promised before, no more questions about The Haunted Mansion.:thumbsup2

Since the last two seemed a little more difficult, here is an easy one.

What pops out of the center teapot in the Mad Tea Party?

a.) The Mad Hatter
b.) A very dizzy Alice
c.) Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum
d.) A mouse

Did You Know?

On a wall inside Cinderella Castle you'll find a mosaic showing Cinderella's stepsisters. One's face is red with anger, while the other's is green with envy.

I love the little facts you add after the trivia question, they are so interesting, thanks:thumbsup2

As for the trivia question, I should know the answer as that was the ride we went on the most, but I just can't picture it.

I'm pretty sure it's the door mouse :thumbsup2 I :lovestruc Alice in Wonderland

ooo, ooo! A trivia question I know the answer to!:cool1:
it's the mouse! but I gotta say, it'd be pretty funny to have a very dizzy Alice poke out :lmao:

Finally! Things that I know! :woohoo: “D”, the mouse is in the teapot!

Yes, I did happen to know that Cinderella’s stepsisters were in the mosaic. I saw it online and wanted to get pictures of all of the mosaics in the castle, but the kids wanted to do something else. Next time…but it was amazing to see the amount of detail they put into that mosaic!

D! But... can we have versions to see A and B as well? :lmao::lmao:

I did not know about the mosaics at all in 2009 and forgot to look for them last year. I'm hoping to remember them this year!!!!

I have the smartest DISfriends.
The answer is:

d.) A mouse

The Dormouse pops his head out from the teapot during this madcap ride. Unlike the Disneyland version, the WDW Mad Tea Party has a canopy over head to protect guests from the elements.

finally caught up!
:cool1:

Okay, we have the same pack of three Disney princess pens.... that I grabbed from target in beach park.

Which airport you flying out of? O'hare or Midway? If you mentioned it, I forgot already, but what airline? we are going out of midway and Southwest.

and I had other things I wanted to mention, but I got so excited I reached the end, I was a dork and forgot. :rolleyes1

Oh, yeah, I was going to tell you how to do the links. or at least the way I did them. (which could be the >long< way.) and then I will tell you a second way you can do it.

first off, take a look at the way the url's are set up. to go directly to something it looked like:
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?p=40758084#post40758084
http:/ /www .disboards. com/showthread.php? p=40758084#post40758084

the numbers after p= is what takes you to the right thread, the numbers after the post takes you to the correct post in the thread. so if I take a look at that above url, if I change the numbers at the end to 40764490.. it takes me to a different reply.

how do I figure out what numbers to put in? I hit quote on the one I want to link to. for the above, in my quoted reply it looks something like this:

:welcome:Singledad, glad to see you all caught up. That was quite a bit of reading you just did, I still can't believe I am on page 21. Thanks for all the link info. I will try to get a better handle on it later. Didn't sleep very well last night and can't seem to concentrate very well.:headache:

We are flying with AirTran through Midway Airport. I checked out Southwest but the prices were really high when I did. I would be paying the same amount for one person that I was paying for both on AirTran. But with the problems I am having now, I wished I would have booked with an airline that does not charge to change there flights.:confused3

Here is question #8

Who is the "narrator"of the Wishes fireworks show?

a.) Tinker Bell
b.) Jiminy Cricket
c.) Mickey Mouse
d.) The Genie from Aladdin

Did You Know?

When WDW turned 15 in 1986, it gave out prizes every 15 seconds. Winners took home everything from small buttons to full-sized automobiles.

Hey Disney, I wouldn't mind my chance to win a prize every 40 seconds. Lets do something for WDW's 40th aniversary.

I also have some great new to report. A kind DISer that I just meet offered to me his extra seats at Chef Mickey's for breakfast on June 2nd. He had a table of 5 and only needed 2 of the seats. Of course I said YES, Liam is so excited. Thank you Singledad. We can't wait.:woohoo::dance3::cheer2::hug:

Hey, finally one that I do know the anser to!!!:woohoo: The answer is b) Jiminy Cricket. Our first time watching Wishes, when Jiminy Cricket said "let your conscience be your guide" my oldest ds who was almost 7 piped up, just when it seemed it was all quiet, and said "But I don't have a conscience"! Everyone around us cracked up!:rotfl:

There'd be no objection from me either if they did prizes every 40 sec!! :rotfl2:

That's wonderful news, what a kind gesture, Singledad:thumbsup2

... Didn't sleep very well last night and can't seem to concentrate very well.:headache:

I can TOTALLY understand that. In fact, when we left off via Pm's I had been awake way way too long. :headache: being Sick is draining!

See, I always go SW. when I did my booking it was pretty close Airtran vs SW, but then I took in account checked bags. You have to pay for them with Airtran. with adding 40 bucks for just a bag each for DD and I... well that shoved us back to SW for sure. Esp since I like checking in at the resort for flying home, and then I don't have to worry about paying baggage fee's via CC over the phone ahead of time. No fees = no worries.

When you where checking for flights, did you remember to look out of Milwaukee as well? sometimes I get cheaper flights out of milwaukee than Midway or ohare. :confused3 Just things to keep in mind for future trips!

We both are flying Midway too.. that is funny! Could have nearly ended up on the same plane with our plans being so close together and all. :rolleyes1

of course, DD and I are SOOO excited too! :woohoo: :dance3: :cheer2:

I mean, I've had the offer out there on two threads (June 2011 and Gaydays 2011) and no one took me up on it. I was feeling bad about having to drop from 5 to 2, but now not only do I got table mates, but REALLY AWESOME tables mates! (and I only need to drop down one person on the ressie! :yay: )

besides, what else would a fellow Z-B grad do but share? :wizard:

That is funny about your older DS! :lmao:

I would esp love it if one of those prizes was a night in the castle.... :cloud9:

and I am just sharing in the magic of Disney with two very awesome people! :confused3 Seriously, I should be thanking THEM for coming!

Oh, c'mon, you go from one extreme to the other on these Corrine. :lmao::rotfl2:

B. Jiminy Cricket

However, I'd like to see a Genie version. He could randomly poof people in the audience into crazy things. Oh the shenanigans of a genie. :rotfl:

And I'd take free stuff anyday! So a free prize every 40 secs, I'd be down for that to celebrate 40 years! :thumbsup2

That's awesome to hear about Chef Mickey's! Liam wil have a blast there! (I thought the food was mediocre at best, but the characters were just too awesome to not want to go back!)

I heard a lot of people say the food wasn't that great. I think it would take a lot to mess up breakfast foods. Even I, the guy the can't do mac and cheese out of the box correctly, can cook breakfast!

So I wanted to post this pic before I headed out to take the kids to school. I will be back later to reply to the other posts.

This is a picture of what I woke up to in the morning.

Can you believe it. Snow on April 18th.:scared1:

We went for dinner in 2009 and I left hungry. The kids didn't, neither did DH ... but it just wasn't very good IMO. But I'd totally be on board for a breakfast there! I agree that it would be pretty awful to mess up a breakfast. :lmao:
