Going back to WDW for Liam's 9th Birthday! 5/29-6/3 WE ARE BACK!!!

So I have come to that point where I have not much else to plan. THe trip is planned and payed for. The ADR's are set. The plane tickets are purchased. Basic touring plans are made. And packing lists are started. There is not much to do right now until the trip gets closer and I pull out the suitcase and start packing. Of course I am keeping track of the airline in hope that one of the two earlier flights stay available, but not much else to do. :sad1:

Of course I can start planning my 2013 trip, but I want to have something to do after my TR is done and I start going through Disney withdrawl.:guilty:

So that is when I pulled out one of my many Disney Books. The Walt Disney World Trivia Book. I figured I can post a couple trivia questions from now until our trip!!!:thumbsup2

Sound good?:confused3

I figured I would post the question with the multiple choice answers. I can than give eveyone some time to ponder, post there guesses if they want, and I would give the answer the next day. :thumbsup2

Todays question:

Where could you hear,"And now, as long as you're all standing . . .we have a wonderful magic trick for you"?

a.) The enchanted Tiki Toom- Under New Management
b.) The Time Keeper
c.) Ellen's Energy Adventure
d.) Jim Henson's MuppetVision 3-D

A. The Enchanted Tiki Room

I like trivia, sounds like fun!!
That being said, I have no idea the answer to your first one as I've never been to any of the choices....so I'm guessing that I've never heard those words!:rotfl:

Fun idea!

I have never experienced TETR or TTK (I'm not even sure what that one is, LOL!)... I have done EEA and MuppetVision each one time but don't remember much about them. So this is going to be a complete guess: D.

And ... I think the answer is A ...

Sorry to hear about the flight mix-up. Hope you can get it changed without losing too much $$$. :sad2:

As for the trivia, I choose: A
I LOVE the trivia idea!!!! :idea:

Can you tell me again where you got the transfers for those awesome shirts? Can you download from a thread???

So I figured I would post the answer to the question around noon (at least I will try, can't alway gaurantee it.:thumbsup2) And than I would post another WDW trivia question at around 4pm. Sound good?

Trivia Question 1 answer:

a.) The Enchanted Tiki Room-Under New Management

Near the end of the show, Iago tells everyone to stand up. Michael than says, "as long as you're all standing..." and Jose continues, "we have a wonderful magic trick for you." Don't know what the trick is? Easy-- they make the whole audience disappear!:lmao:

Here is the new trivia question for today?

What was the price of admission to the Magic Kingdom on Opening Day 1971?

a.) Free (yeah, right)
b.) $3.50 to $4.95
c.) $9.99
d.) $19.71

So there is the question, what do you all think is the answer?
:goodvibespopcorn::

B - $4.95

I admit I used the open book test method with this one:lmao: Google is the best;)

Cheater cheater pumpkin eater! :lmao::rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

Well, I guess I will go with B :rotfl2:

Now, now ladies. Calm down or I'll have to put you into Disney detention.:lmao: (Something tells me that Disney detention would be better than real life.:rotfl2:)

I hope you all had time to think about the question and your answers because time is up.

The answer is:

b.)$3.50 to $4.95

When WDW opened in 1971, there were no such things as "Park Hoppers" or even annual passes. Instead of purchasing one ticket for admission to all the rides in the park, you paid an admission price and then had to buy individual tickets, or books of tickets, to ride most attractions. For $3.50 you could enter the Magic Kingdom and experience the free attraction (yes, some were free, believe it or not). For a $4.95 admission, you also got an Adult 7-Ride Coupon Book that contained a mix of A,B,C,D,and E tickets. Additional tickets cost 25 to 50 centseach. The best attractions, such as The Haunted Mansion, required an E ticket.

So there is the answer. Glad you all got it right, even though some of us cheated (you know who you are.:rotfl:) Will post #3 later today.:thumbsup2

Now, now ladies. Calm down or I'll have to put you into Disney detention.:lmao: (Something tells me that Disney detention would be better than real life.:rotfl2:)

If Disney Detention is located at WDW - send me there for life! :thumbsup2:worship:

:lmao::rotfl2:

So here is question #4?

You'd find Amaxon Annie, Irrawaddy Irma, and Wamba Wanda in____?

a.) Kilimanjaro Safaris
b.)Adventurers Club
c.) Discoveery River Taxis
d.) Jungle Cruise

There you go my fine friends. Can't wait to see your answers.:thumbsup2
