Hey guys me and my girlfriend are looking at going to be booking a short trip to Disneyland Paris after years of going to WDW but with buying out first house we just cant afford it and also with all the changes going on in Orlando we want to wait and go back in 2/3 years.

We are looking at 5 days 4 nights staying at sequoia lodge and traveling on the euro star from Elbsfeet.

1, i haven't been to Paris in about 6 years it was the park that made me fall in love with Disney again as a adult so whats changed in my time away?

2, Whats the best eurostar station to park at as we will be driving to the eurostar and leaving the car there for 5 days?

3, what is the breakfast life at Sequoia Lodge and is it free? our friends stayed at New York and had cooked breakfasts everyday which kept them filled up most of the day

4, do they have a dinning plan and if so is it worth getting? we both arent big eaters and found in WDW its not worth it as food is cheap else where.

5, do they have water fountains? and if so can you drink from them or is it like WDW where its not recommend.

6, is it best to pre book the photo pass?

7, do we need to take our magic bands?

8, what are the character meet and greets like as this is a big thing for my girlfriend?

9, we have been quoted about £800 for the whole trip via disneyland paris and can get 5.5% cash back via quidco.com is this a good deal.

10, as we will be moving in around the time we go i want to plan some romantic photo locations any tips on this?

11, do you prebook your fast passes?

Hi, that's a lot of questions! ;) Let's see:

1. nothing much presumably. Ratatouille is the only new ride. At the moment a lot of attractions are closed for refurbishment.

3. standard breakfast at sequoia lodge is bread rolls, croissants, cheese and jam. there's hot options if you pay extra or for free if you book a golden room.

7. magic bands don't work in DLP.

11. you can't prebook fast passes. just go up to the ride and get a fast pass for a later time.

- Ratatouille ride in WDS
- Toy Story Playland in WDS, which includes 3 rides
- Updated/renewed Halloween and Christmas season
- New seasons: Swing into Spring, Star Wars: Season of the Force
- Animagique closed, Mickey and the Magician replaced it

Sorry I don't know this.

Breakfast is included during your stay. The breakfast includes things like baquettes, croissants, chocolate croissants, toast, meats, cheeses, jam, marmelade, juices, milk, coffee, tea, fruits.

4, do they have a dinning plan and if so is it worth getting? we both arent big eaters and found in WDW its not worth it as food is cheap else where.
Sometimes half board or full board is offered as a special offer. If so it would be a nice extra, but I would not recommend booking it paying in full.

5, do they have water fountains? and if so can you drink from them or is it like WDW where its not recommend.
There are drinking fountains but it is French tap water. It's not recommended for drinking when you are foreign because of the risk of getting sick.

6, is it best to pre book the photo pass?
No, you can get it at Flora's Boutique in Main Street the quickest.

7, do we need to take our magic bands?
No, they do not work in DLP.

8, what are the character meet and greets like as this is a big thing for my girlfriend?
They are more chaotic than in America. There is more pushing when there is no clear line, which is often when characters are at random places unfortunatelly. Be prepared to stand your ground in making sure you get your picture too, but you'll be fine even so. If you go to meet and greets at locations that are officially on the programme, there will be a line and you will have no poblems like this. European people tend to be less enthousiastic in public compared to other continents, but don't let this stop you!

There is a Flash Sale on the Belgian website and on the French website at this moment, both offering different dates. You should check those as you are allowed to book on any countries website! You could even call Disney, say you saw an offer on the X version of the DLP website and they can book it for you.

10, as we will be moving in around the time we go i want to plan some romantic photo locations any tips on this?
Around the castle every spot is beautiful!

11, do you prebook your fast passes?
This is not possible.

5. French tap water is absolutely fine to drink, and there are no recommendations against foreigners drinking it, as someone suggested above. And it doesn't taste gross like Florida tap water does!

3.Looking at the DLRP booking site it does now look like breakfast is no longer free but paid for in advance if wanted? Exceptions look to be certain rooms like the Golden Forest ones. Anyone know if that is in effect now for all new bookings?

It's effective for all bookings for stays arriving on and after 29th March 2017. Breakfast is still included for stays with arrival dates up until 28th March 2017, for stays where arrival date starts on or after 29th March 2017 it isn't. You can choose to add it for an additional price, either breakfast alone or as part of a meal plan, or if you book one of the Club Level rooms it's included in the price.
