Going at the end of the Princess Half Marathon question

Hi All,

Me, my DW, 17 yo DD and 15 yo decided to come to WDW February 26-March 1, 2023. When I looked at the crowd calendar I noticed that on February 26, our first day, it says that HS was not a good park to visit (we always do HS the first day since for us its not a full day park as we have no interest in Star Wars). I then realized that that was the end of the Princess Half Marathon.

My question is, am I crazy to do HS on that day?

Princess HM does not typically include DHS as part of the course - It starts and finishes at EPCOT. The biggest problem is road closures, and other guests choosing to go to AK or DHS since the course does not typically include these parks or their roads. If you are staying atone of the MK resorts, buses will have to use detours since World Drive has lane closures. Still - the race will be over by 10 AM

We will be staying at the POP, so we have the skyliner, so that will be good

If you are at Pop then the Skyliner to DHS will work out great.

If you are traveling via skyliner unless RunDisney drastically changes the princess course your golden as the half historically runs from Epcot to Magic and back
