Hi everyone

Have just booked last minute to stay for 2 nights at Radisson SAS. :cool1:

My 2 little boys went 4 years ago with my parents because I was very ill at the time and not able to take them. I promised I would take them back when I was well.

Not sure Ive booked the right thing though and bit worried about the Radisson. ANyone been there????

Just a few questions - a few reviews say that the bus shuttle isnt very good back to this hotel - is it easy to find a taxi in the park on an evening?

Also we have park tickets for 2 days of our stay so we were thinking of just going to the hotel on the first day and then using our tickets on day 2 (when we'll have a full day) and day 3 (when our train leaves at 6.30.). Im assuming we'll need to be at the train station by about 5.15pm so was thinking that maybe we should take our cases with us from the hotel in the morning?????? Does anyone know if there is a left luggage place in the parks (or at Eurostar station) and how much it is???

Oh sorry - and last question - i think theres a shopping mall not too far from the Radisson? - does anyone know how much a taxi costs to get there and what time it closes on an evening.

Thankyou!!!!! - any otehr tips gratefully received Kizziex

The Radisson shares a bus service with the Marriot where I have stayed a couple of times. The bus service is far less frequent than the partner hotels but is very useable if you leave for the parks in the morning and don't intend returning till the evening.

From memory there is a shuttle around 8.40 , 9.20 , 10.05, 10.20 , 10.40 and 11.00 in the morning then a gap till around 14.00 to the parks. (That was from the Marriot it would be around 5 mins later at the Radisson)

Coming back there are three evening ones we used most were 18.35 20.25 and 21.45.

There is a left luggage in the train station upstairs which we used for a quick get away after one of our trips.

Taxi's are about 15€ to the Marriot so I'd imagine the same to the Radisson . It also cost us the same to go to the shopping centre. Only problem we had was getting a taxi home at night from Val D'europe . We ended up getting the train back to Disney Village.

I hope you are feeling much better and that you have a lovely time.

Thats great disneyangel. Thanks for all the info - really starting to look forward to it now. Boys v v excited :)

Hi Kizzie, welcome to the DIS! :welcome:

I agree it's best to bring your cases in with you on your departure day ~ you've got the choice of either using the large lockers at the station as Angela mentioned (can't remember the charge for these), or you can leave them with Guest Storage to the right of the ticket booths before you enter Disneyland Park, they will charge 2.50 euros per item.

You will have a magical time! :wizard:

Disneyangel: Thanks for leading me to the Radisson shuttle info.

Kizzie1: Did you go and come back already? I hope you post how
the Radisson was! I didn't see your trip dates on the when's everyone
going post.

:)
