Update:

I talked to Leslie yesterday. Her benefit is next Saturday, March 6, but her doctor doesn't know if she will be able to make it. She can't be around lots of people yet. I told her not to worry about it and to focus on getting better! She told me some of the stuff that's going to be there- two gift certificates to two different tattoo parlors for $500, a DJ, a comedian, a balloon animal maker...and that's just what she knows so far! Mom got a really nice basket of stuff together for the raffle for us to give away. It sounds like it's going to be a really good turn out.

And now...I thought I'd make a list of some of the random things I love doing at WDW:

1) Sitting on Main Street while watching the Castle change colors at night.
2) Riding the monorail and saying word for word the spiel. HA
3) Getting margaritas at the stand in DTD.
4) Riding the Resorts boats- whether it's the Contemporary/WL/MK boat or the OKW/DTD boat.
5) Using our "cut across" through the Noodle Station.
6) Sitting on the Poly beach and watching Wishes.
7) Spending at least one day just relaxing at the Resort, swimming and enjoying the atmosphere.
8) Dancing along to the Spectro music as we hear it while walking by.
9) Asking for the very back on EE and screaming our heads off the whole ride!
10) Yelling "HOORAY!" along with the ride at the end of Winnie the Pooh.
11) Clapping along with the singing at boat scene of Splash Mountain.
12) Laughing at all our skipper's jokes on the Jungle Cruise.
13) Hearing music everywhere we go.
14) Riding the buses and listening to the music that goes along with where we're headed.
15) Watching Stacy and only Stacy on our t.v.
16) Walking through the Castle and touching the mosiac tiles.

Hi Tinkgurl! I don't know why I didn't realize this before but the day you arrive will be the day we are leaving! (It's just a short weekend trip for us. ) I just went back and read that you will be going to MK that day and I think we will be at Epcot - but if we happen to pass each other at some point maybe we can say a quick hello!

Every single thing on your list of random things made me smile. sigh...

I hope Leslie's benefit goes well on Saturday. How nice of your mom to put that basket together - it sounds like there's going to be a lot of nice things. Maybe you could text her pictures while you are there if she is not able to make it?

Well, Friday I will start my 1 week from today posts! I hope everyone tunes into those.

I decided to check out what all is going to be closed or getting worked on while we're there. So far the list is:

Cinderella Castle:- 1/04/2010- unknown. Scaffolding will be on the front side of the Castle. The castle will remain open to guests.

Tinker Bell's Fairy Treasures:- 3/1/10- late March. This location will become a location where guests may have their picture taken as part of the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique package.

Backlot Tour:- 2/15/10- 3/27/10

Studio Catering Co.:- 2/8/10- 3/20/10

I hope there isn't a lot being done to the Castle while we're there. It's one of my favorite parts about WDW!

It's also a bummer that Tink's shop will be closed. It's not going to ruin my trip, but I just love stopping by the place. I'll just have to wait and do that until July.

I cant waittttt for the one week from today posts! I saw some pictures of the work being done on the castle and they do a good job at covering what they are doing!!

Otherwise, we'll just have to get extra pics in July!

1 week from today... we will be on the road!

We'll be waking up early! We're spending the night in Chattanooga, TN. We still need to find out what restaurants are near our hotel for that night. Then, we'll be going to bed early!
