Hi Scott! Congratulations on your trip, I hope you have a fantastic time.

We stayed at POFQ last year with our DS who has CP and uses a wheelchair. The resort was great for him with plenty of space in the rooms. You will have a fridge in your room for the baby's milk and the resort is really small and compact, so never far to walk to the food court or the pool. We loved it there.

We had no problems at all using the Disney buses, we found the drivers really helpful and patient loading the wheelchair, even when it was busy. Our car never moved from the parking lot all the time we were there.

I have read about the Seaworld discount AFAIK it is only available at the gate and not in advance. Busch Gardens offer the same discount too.

thanks

one more question

how is sea world in treating the disabled
is there something like the gac at disney

some parks have a u get a stamp and come back in as many hours as the line is

or is it like disney with alt entrance or uninversal were they give u passes for a # of fastpasses

thanks
scott

We have not been to Sea World in a long time, so other people may have more recent information, but the thing I remember about that park is that it was a lot of shows. So, you sort of showed up before the start time for the show you wanted to see. There were limited numbers of wheelchair seats available for each show, so if there were seats when you got there, you got in. If not, you went to something else or waited for the next showtime.

The Seaworld discount isn't on their website anymore as far as I know, but people have posted recently about getting it. It's only available at the gate from what people have posted in the past. It's 1/2 price for the person with a disability and 1/2 price for one caregiver.

Hi,

Seaworld is great for guests with disabilities. For all the shows there are dedicated areas for wheelchairs - all with a good view - and there are benches all around so that you can sit with your family.

For the three 'rides' Kraken, Journey to Altlantis and Wild Arctic there is a pass they can give you which allows alternate access avoiding steps, there is a special office for this not far from the entrance. The last three times we have been this has been manned by an elderly gentleman who is really nice.

Hope you have a great trip.

Sue
