Go West young lady! - July 3rd 2011, day 9 of the Pacific Coast trek

Today we are off to Oregon and we will be staying here just one night. So off up the coast we travel, stopping en route to see the coastline

Then off we go again stopping for a shopping break, at a Walmart, to pick up bandana’s which will be most needed on the dune buggys It is now late afternoon when we arrive for the dune buggy ride and get kitted up with the bandanas

After this we had a little drive to get to our ride!

Soon we are on our way across the dunes and it was certainly an experience!

The beach was also on our journey

Finally after an hour the tour was over and back to camp we went as tomorrow is Washington state with Mount St Helens and the 4th of July

Lol Claire at the time I did make a comment about 'doing a bank job' to the others, esp with our getaway vehicle

It was alot of fun Kev, I am sure it felt faster than it was, I am guessing about 40mph to 50mph on the flats!
