Can you use a Go Pro camera on the Aqua Duck on the Fantasy or Dream? Can you use any camera for that matter? Thanks in advance!

My understanding is that it's a no you can't, but I have seen them posted.

It has to be a strap, either head or chest. Some people have had luck with affixing it to your arm, but you can't just hang on to it or use a lanyard/leash.

Yes like Quellman stated. It does have to be worn not handheld. I saw two different people wearing them on headstraps in front of me. They were not turned away or told to remove them.

We just got off the Dream and one the lifeguards made the point of telling me I had to use a strap on my GoPro as I walked by. I wasn't going up to the AD at that point but it was nice of them to point it out to me. I did use my chest strap on it and my nieces borrowed it as well on the AD. None if us had any issues with it.

Yes and no.
It would work but the problem is that on your wrist you have to hold your arm up in a specific position for the entire ride to get any usable video. In all honesty, your better off with a chest strap and sit in the front or by your self.

Ive never had a problem. I have mine on the chest harness for the Aquaduck. On Weds when we boarded, I had my camera on a pole and we were walking past the entrance to the a/d when one of the life guards saw the Go Pro and said you can take the Gopro but it needs to be on a strap like this and showed me his on his belt on a wrist strap. Hadnt planned on going on the A/d that soon and we were just walking by. I also used it on the Fantasy on the same straps in 2012 and 13 and never once had any one stop me.

They won't even let me wear my glasses (that I'm blind as a bat without) on the aqueduck. I can't imagine go pro is allowed if its not attached.

I thought so also. The whole ships crew seemed really happy and up beat and friendly. Never once had any issue with the crew. Shutters on the other hand........

I'm sure a lot of people ask. I think the confusion comes from cameras not being allowed but attached gopros are.

Yup..super frustrating. Thankfully my last cruise I was finally back in contact lenses after a 10 year break. It was very cool to see it!

We just went on the Dream (July 19th) and you are allowed to wear glasses on the AquaDuck. You are allowed to use a GoPro if it is head or chest mounted. No hand extensions.

Glasses are no problem as well. Maybe get the back strap for your glasses,so they are attached as well. We had no problem with either.

This is great news. I always wear croakies with my glasses. This makes me much happier that you can wear them
