I was just diagnosed with Cileac's and I was wondering how hard it was for you to change your eating over to gluten free? I am in 40's and was pretty much asymptomatic. I was shocked to say the least so nowI am looking for tips or advice on this new lifestyle.
Thanks!

You should really meet with a dietician (as should I - dd7 was diagnosed in the spring - however, I've done GF myself, my cousins have celiac, my nephew has a severe wheat allergy, so I was ahead of the game). There are items that have hidden gluten (licorice, soy sauce). It can be a PITA, especially eating out (some french fries aren't GF). I find breakfast and snacks are pretty easy, but the rest of the meals can be hard (she eats lots of salad and corn/cheese quesadillas). The rice pasta has really come down in price, as in only $4 a box instead of $8.
