It is just DD and I. She is GF, but I am not. We have the QSDP. Can she get a GF kids meal at CS (the ones which can accommodate GF) with one of her credits, or do I need to redeem one of my adult credits and order a kids meal for myself?

I could be wrong ( it wouldn't be the first time:rolleyes:), but I think even if they only have an "adult GF meal" then they will use her kids credit because it's not your fault that they do not have a kiddie GF meal. Mayeb someone with more knowledge on the matter can set you strait. I hope I'm not telling you wrong, but I do think I read that here some where a long time ago.

Our experience has been that we speak with a manager or chef (depending on where we are; chef at resort and manager at parks) and we go over with them what options are safe. They then place the order and we pay using a credit. We do typically order kid friendly foods because that's what DD9 wants (she's our only remaining Disney kid) but the foods aren't always from the kids menu. There rules regarding child credits state that you must order a kids meal where one is available. If there is no safe kids meal available then it's ok to order an adult meal tough your portion may be smaller. Note that we haven't been given adult sized desserts and drinks with these; we still get the kids options because we are ordering kids meals, at least where there is a safe option available (DD9 can't eat baby carrots and can't eat grapes that haven't been really scrubbed and the puddings have milk so there are places where she can't have the kids options; luckily most places have Divvies cookies so she gets those).

ETA: Note that the Divvies that I mentioned are not gluten free. This particular child can eat gluten but can't eat other foods. When DD12 who is gluten free was still a Disney kid the managers would make suggestions and frequently would offer a gluten free cookie or brownie but if they didn't then she would choose from the kids desserts which were safe for her.

Thanks. I don't particularly want a full adult portion and could never use 4 desserts between us per day anyhow (we are on QSDP for 15 days) so I don't need extras with the meal. Basically a like for like substitute, even if it varies from what is on the kids menu, is perfect. Thank you for your help. :goodvibes
