HI,

Long time lurker here. I was wondering if anyone has eaten at Tutto Italia or Mama Melrose's and is gluten free? I was curious what choices were available. Did they have gluten free pasta? TIA:)

My daughter had gluten free pasta at Mama Melrose's this summer. She thought it was good. I can't remember what she got for dessert there. Maybe a packaged cookie to go? She was on the kid's dining plan so I know she didn't get the regular kid's dessert cupcake.

We ate at Mama Melrose's this past March. DD got a gluten free pizza, but the chef basically told her to look at the menu and let him know what she wanted and they would make it for her GF. For dessert, she had flourless chocolate cake.

Thanks so much for your replies. I am excited to hear that Mama Melrose's has pasta and can do pizza's too! My son will love the pizza! Last year was our first year eating at WDW gluten free and we had a great experience. We avoided obvious pasta places because we were unsure how well they would handle the gluten free issue. Disney was so great last year we are hoping for a great experience next year and are going to be more adventurous.:cool1:

I believe they also made my son fish at Mama Melrose, so there is a good bit of selection. He had rice dream (you could probably get the regular ice cream) for dessert.

Last March was our first time with DD eating GF as well. They even gave her dinner rolls and her own plate of olive oil for dipping and told her not to let anyone else use her olive oil. Can't wait to go back in April!

My DH has Celiac's and we have eaten at both Italian restaurants in Epcot and Tony's in MK. At all three the Chef came out and spoke with him and were extremely accommodating. In Epcot the only thing he could not have was the meatballs and in MK he was told they could make anything on the menu GF. To say he was in heaven would be a gross understatement :-)
