I read on one of the sites that if you use glow-in-the-dark hair gel (or black-light gel) on the kids hair it will show up on rides like Buzz or Haunted Mansion. I was wondering if anyone has tried this out and if so did you use any special brands.

I'm going down to WDW in July and taking my niece (age 5) and two nephews (ages 5 and 9) and thought they would get a kick out it.

:jumping1:

We bought some gel that was supposed to glow under black light, but it didn't do a thing.

The brand we bought was "disco diva" at Wal-Mart. I don't know if we got a bad batch, or if it's all worthless. As far as working as a hair gel, it smelled like a margarita and left our hair feeling greasy.

If anybody knows of a different brand that actually works, I'd like to hear about that too.

BTW, DW also bought some Rimmel brand lipstick at Wal-Mart that was supposed to Glow in the Dark, which also didn't work.

That sounds really cool. Too bad I'm an adult. . . Kids get all the neat stuff. . . :rolleyes1

The i-glow stuff on this website says it doesn't even need the black or UV lights to glow.

I haven't used it myself, but if we weren't leaving for WDW on Saturday, I would be ordering it.
