GLOW II: The Bounceback... Multiple Meets!!!.. First 1/2 of Sept 2008

tomorrow. Worked (Macys) all day and MY FEET HURT!!!! and no, I don't type with my feet:lmao: .

Miss Linda, I did look at your ADRs and you neglect to mention dinner with Katie and I at Coral Reef on 9/5!!! I know, short term memory is the first to go.

Also, if anyone wants to share the joy that is eating with me, I have a table for 4 reserved at LeCellier on 9/7 but it's just Katie & me.

Will post the list tomorrow!!

Love & Kisses all:lovestruc

Pooch if you want we have spaces ava. for dinner at CM on 9/7 for the bachelorette party then off to MK for the rest of the evening?? I thought I would invite you.

Pooch, never fear = Mighty Mouth, ummm I mean Slightly Goofy, has the dinner at Coral Reef on her agenda, where it counts.:thumbsup2

This listing is only the ADR's I made. I had already made one for GG and I know that I cannot eat two big meals in one day but decided to keep the ADR just in case something happened. I figure I can hand it off to someone else.:)

Also I did not want to put down that I was having dinner with you and your dd for fear of the jealousy it would engender in others. :worship:

Ants, could you not just ask, nicely, and the tech would show you the thing? I want to know how big it is. I am able to swallow pills without water so I am guessing it will fit in my big mouth. :lmao: I love technology. :rotfl2: The new pills, beta blockers, have eliminated the chest pain. :thumbsup2

Do you guys know how many countries have a 4th of July?

Timmie, did you get the link I sent you on that gadget? I am having second thoughts about it. I am a conservative, hard to believe huh?, and it seems to me that the only reason for the test is to see if I have acid reflux which is something that has been well established. The treatment is the same no matter what so it would be a waste of my health care dollars just to let the doctor play with the new toy. :confused3 The other test is fine as there is a very small chance of cancer or precancer and that needs to be checked and baselined. Common sense prevails??

Do you honestly think I would try to trick anyone?

Pulling up weeds all day long today. Oh, joy!!

All is done in the downstairs MBR and the DR, except for hanging some pictures and such so I thought I would share pics of the dump I live in. :lmao: Even at my poorest I have always kept a clean house and can do miracles with a gallon of paint. A girl has to have some skills. (as well as power tools) :)

packed bags... and ready to :car: Ms. Linda when am I moving in :lmao:

Timmie, I doubt that I need to ask these questions however I must know before you move in.:lmao:

Do you do housework?

Do you say thank you when someone does stuff for you?

Can you pull weeds?

If so, it is much better than what I have and I might be in need of 24/7 nursing care.

Heck, ever read about those urban dwellers that move into someone's home and live there, undetected? As big as this place is a half dozen or so of you could move in IF I were not OCD and notice one speck of anything out of place.:rotfl:

SG (PS I had Nancy forward the link to you via email)

I do good housework.. you can ask Nancy... we slept together for almost a week.. hmmmm let me rephrase that :lmao: we shared a room for almost a week... hahahaha as long as you buy me bleach... lysol wipes and ziplock I am can conquer anything!!!

OK will check email now :)

I am not sure if it is the same brand... I think what they have is a family of Hitachi/Roche since all I saw was the box and yup the same principle.. they are going to to put you under /twilight so you are semi aware of what is going on and then will have that little pill size camera attached... (well thats what the tech explained.. he had not witnessed it either just from the inserts). he said it is in a soft tissue form .. the one we have so it should not bother your breathing/eating just dont swallow a whole chicken :lmao:

Beautiful! Love the color and your new chair!!! :goodvibes

Diva Kristin, thank you for the kind words. It was all done on a budget too. The paint is the WM's cheapest and it covered both the patterned wallpaper and the dark rose of the one room and it only took one gallon for both rooms! That was far more than I expected or hoped for. $12 versus the nearly $1000 someone quoted me for painting both rooms. I spent a big chunk of the savings on that chair though. It is sorely needed for so many reasons. I have to sleep sitting up often.

Ants, I have loads of ziplocks, bleach but no Clorox wipes. I keep a bottle of homemade bleach water solution and spray everything down at night. I do a 'last call' on the kitchen before doing so. Yes, I hear you, you sleep in the same room as Pooh and you love her but are not in love with her. I have heard many a male say the same things about the women in their lives. :lmao: They attach the Bravo probe to your esophagus with suction, sort of like the Mickey and Minney gel decors I have on my car windows. The more I think about it the less I think I will do it. They once wanted me to do a sleep study. I told them that even if they found anything they would just tell me to lose more weight and they could do that without the expensive tests and save time and trouble. Just because you can do something does not mean you should.

Gotta go cut some rhubarb and pick tomatoes. No peppers yet. The rain done messed up the timing.

SG

Linda your rooms are beautiful! The chair ia amazing, I want one of those, (if only I had the room for one)
My DH is a painter, has been for 15+ years...If we lived closer I would have made him come paint that for you for free!;) :thumbsup2

Hey H&J! You can MAKE your husband do things??:worship: I am not a charity case yet but the problem is you cannot get anyone to do much work around here and if you do they want ridiculous amounts. I am a nit picker and am frustrated not to be able to DIY as much anymore. It took me months to complete these two rooms. I used to be able to whomp them out in a day or two.

The chair is exactly what I had in mind and so I did not argue as much as I might on the price. I did get some taken off and free delivery. It was a tad bigger than I had thought so it took some finagling to find a place to put. Things have to be kept uncomplicated as my husband trips over patterns on the floor. :scared1:

SG,
What an awsome chair. Wish I had room for one too. I love your exercise bike. I have one that is higher up that I use daily and once it is burned out I want one that is lower to the ground and layed back like yours. Your house looks beautiful. Love the stained glass in the window.

Ang

Ang, you pointed out my favorite part of the room, the stained glass windows. Lowe's has a coupon nearly every month that offers $10 off $25, sometimes $50 purchases , and I have been using them each and every month to buy one plantation blind. I had hoped that the one on the big window would turn out like this. It is lovely being able to see them from the inside of the house and still have privacy. The exercise bike is a recumbent bike and is the only one I can use because of my breathing problems. I have certain shows that I only allow myself to watch while pedaling away. You can come on over and sit in my chair any old time you wish.

The stained glass really is beautiful and so are the blinds. My bike is a recumbent as well but the seat still sits higher.

Hey Timmy, I call first dibs on sitting in the chair. :rotfl:
