Just wanted to stop by & say hello. I don't get on the computer as often as I would like...actually, I am lying...I'm on the computer everyday for work, but I don't have a second of free time to do anything besides work

I hope you are all doing great. I'm not sure if I have posted yet, but we had to cancel our September trip. I'm pretty bummed, but this summer has been rough on us financially. Had to make some sacrifices, and unfortunately, WDW was one of the first things that had to go. We are still hoping to go in December though, and we'll definitely be back on track for next September.

Hope you all have a safe & happy 4th of July. I'll keep checking in

some big changes at work and I can't turn off the voices in my head at night right now, so I've been up and here since about 4AM. Thank God, I have the DIS. It's the only thing that keeps me sane. Can't even tell you how many times I sneak on at work these days.

I hope you are all doing great. I'm not sure if I have posted yet, but we had to cancel our September trip. I'm pretty bummed, but this summer has been rough on us financially. ANTS, how could I ever forget your mobile bar? It made a big impression on me. You do know that folks do not need liquor to warm up to you don't cha? I am glad that you feel the presence of your dad around you. I know it is a comfort. I have a reserved sign on my passenger seat just for YOU! Gotta keep an eye on my wild child ya know.

Becky, how disappointing for us. I am glad that you ARE getting to go sometime this year though. Next year will be a better one.

Pooch, I have nights like that too. I have found that if I get up and do some sort of boring work it helps and if I still can't sleep at least I have a head start on the day. My house is very clean. I am spending a lot of my days with medical matters and am too worn out to get on the computer some days. Good news is that I got the go ahead for my September trip, just have to take it easy. Even as big as DW is it will still be less work/stress than my real life. Going to have me some fun!! I hope things get better for you. Feel free to vent via email if you would like.

Alicia, I hope you will be at several of our meets. I just feel as if I know you so very well and I have a huge hug that I have been wanting to give to you, whether you want it or not!

H&J, so you are going to come on over and slum it at the POP a few times? I have never stayed at the POP and am too lazy to travel far so it works for me. You will have a far better view of the EWP than I though.

As I mentioned I have the go ahead for my trip so I will paying for that this week. I am planning a short trip to Ohio just to test myself out. Going to celebrate the big 60 with a couple of my sisters. I have been put on some new medication. Good news is that the side effects are the same symptoms I already have so I figure they will cancel each other out. Appt with main doctor and heart doctor (best in area) next week and have to get off the rat poison for a bit as I am having some minor procedures done in August. One is amazing. They are going to put a small tube down my throat and it will wirelessly transmit pictures and info to their computer for a few days and then dissolve. Will that count as my fiber do you think? Might I walk around and change TV channels and such for those few days. Just some things to ponder.

Becky-- I know how tough it is to cancel a trip, but December at WDW rocks. Are you heading up to AK soon? Maybe we'll just have to do a PDX area meet sometime to finally get together in person.

Farrah--the Wilderness Lodge is SO beautiful. We'll be there for dinner at WCC on the 7th, but it sounds like you'll probably already be home. Or maybe I'll find you chained to one of the trees in protest, lol.

Gail--we'll be moved over to POFQ by the 10th, so I'll be dropping by Scat Cats for a little Meeting of the Mindless--er, I mean Minds (oops, Freudian slip). Assuming, of course, that I can ditch the menfolk. Dd might be tougher--she's the social butterfly of the family. I can always send her to the food court for beignets if things get too racy.

thunderbird1 , I figure one of these fine days we will all be fitted out with GPS units that will report on each action we do. Our cars already have black boxes in them so that the insurance company and see who was at fault in case of accident. Yikes!!! Luckily, for me, they have not progressed quite that far and by the time I hit DW and Free Dining all the evidence will be flushed and I will not be in any trouble. I do not gain weight at DW. Just another reason i love the place. In spite of my size I do not eat much. The wireless device sure beats the other alternative. Looking forward to seeing you soon!!

Ants, could you not just ask, nicely, and the tech would show you the thing? I want to know how big it is. I am able to swallow pills without water so I am guessing it will fit in my big mouth. I love technology. The new pills, beta blockers, have eliminated the chest pain.
