GLOW II: The Bounceback... Multiple Meets!!!.. First 1/2 of Sept 2008

LOL--you're right--I think I enjoy the planning of the vacation almost as much as the vacation. I think that's why I liked getting the bounceback so much--I got to start planning the next trip before the current one even really began! But why stop when you start the drive--that's why man invented Wi-Fi and Starbucks.

Got the return flights booked this afternoon after getting dh's valuable input ("uh, didn't you already pick the flights? I didn't really read the email." ). But I almost forgot the most important piece of trip preparation I did this week. I accidentally stumbled across a temporary Disney Character Warehouse in a nearby mall! Oh yeah--new autograph books for $3.49, a $10 tink pullover for me, a(nother) pin bag for $20 (half price), and a $.99 t-shirt for dh.

hehe... true true.... I loves me some wifi hehe... I lie... the plannig never really stops hehe... not till the trip is over and it's time to plan the next one hehe!!

They set one up here now and again... they are "away" now.... I can't wait till it returns lol

For all of last years GLOWers... and anyone else who wants to join in on this years fun!!!

Planning multiple meets on this thread... at least one (maybe two) "BIG" get together at POP and maybe some smaller meets at other locations around WDW...

But first up we have to see who's in on the fun!!! Once we have some members and Ideas I will put them here on the first Post so anyone can see when they go to this thread

September 1st 10pm Fantasmic Meet..... since there are 2 Fantasmic that night it's perfect... we can all enjoy rides and meet at the less busy of the 2 shows ​

September 3rd Illuminations Meet....Location TBD (I'm thinkin Norway, was great viewing from there for us last year)​

September 5th Glow II: The Bounceback Party.... 10pm till whenever...​

Free Robots and Cookies Gone at Epcot
Epcot has discontinued both the Nestle Jr. Chef Experience in the Land, and Plastic Works in Innoventions East. The Nestle Jr. Chef Experience gave kids the opportunity to make (and eat) chocolate chip cookies. That area of the Land is reportedly being changed into expanded seating for the Sunshine Seasons food court. Plastic Works at Innoventions East looked at the miracle that is plastic. Guests got to design a virtual plastic robot, to run a cyber obstacle race. They then were able to make their own plastic robot from assorted parts provided for free by Disney. Rumor has it that this area will become a new micro-car exhibit – more details to come.

We love the robot game, I was hoping to play it again this fall! And we like making robots and then taking them to dinner with us, I'll be sad if its gone before we get there again!

Sorry to hear about the Jr. Chef program going away too! Never had a kid to take to it (mine was toooo old by the time they started it!) but it seemed like such a nice activity for the little ones. I'd agree they need more seating, but wish they could have found another way to squeeze in some more chairs and tables.

DF & I (she's going again - DD out at least for now) will be at AK for at least some of EMH that night but that's still only til 8PM so the bar at whichever is perfect!! SG doesn't drink but she's willing to watch us!!! Mark the date!!!!

Yea but its gotta be funny...

YOur from North Jersey me too! And it appears we are going down the same time this year funny if were on the same plane look for the green mickey heads

We probably won't be on the same plane. I got a much better rate out of Stewarts in Newburgh, NY than Newark. I live close to the New York border so the distance between the two airports isn't much difference.

But if you'll wear your LGMH to Garden State Plaza, I promise to look for you.
