Great minds think alike--we're tentatively planning Boma on the 10th, Raglan Road on the 11th and Kona Cafe on the 13th, too! I'll post a more complete list once we get all the kinks worked out.

And Tanya, definitely A for the logo. Lookin' good!

OK Ladies - I've been popping (get it Popping) in here from time to time to keep tabs on you. My dates are later in September and am participating in a fridge swap. Well, I just checked that thread and it appears there has been a cancellation for 8/29 to 9/6. Are any of you interested? If so, head over and post a message on that thread ASAP. Here's a link...

Aw, GLOW peeps are the best, always looking out for each other.

Speaking of which, the UOG site is reporting a rumor, from several different sources both inside and outside WDW, that a free DDP offer will be available for booking beginning April 10. No details yet--probably because there's another promotion currently running that doesn't end until later this month.

I know there are several waiting/watching/hoping for free dining, so clear your calendars and set your alarm clocks for O-dark-hundred hours on April 10!

ETA: Just looked at a calendar, and April 10 is a Thursday. If this year's promo is anything like last year's, Thursday will be the day it's released to the general public, but Disney VISA cardholders will be able to book beginning on Monday (April 7). Less than 3 weeks until then!

Hello. . . hello. . . hello. . . ?

Is there anybody out there?

I'd buy that whole "warm weather keeps people off the boards" thing if it hadn't SNOWED in the midwest yesterday! Making snowmen during spring break is just . . . wrong. Or maybe you're all just busy spreading the free dining word. It's sounding more and more like a done deal for September--yippee!

Made the last of my ADR's today, so thought I'd post The List:

  • 9/5 7:00 Boma
  • 9/6 8:00 Rose & Crown
  • 9/7 5:55 Whispering Canyon Cafe
  • 9/8 11:30 Tusker House / 5:00 Le Cellier
  • 9/9 11:30 Coral Reef / 4:50 Crystal Palace
  • 9/10 1:00 Yak & Yeti / 8:10 Boma
  • 9/11 12:00 Liberty Tree Tavern / 8:30 Raglan Road
  • 9/12 5:30 Biergarten
  • 9/13 12:50 Sci-Fi / 7:10 Kona Cafe
  • 9/14 5:00 Le Cellier
  • 9/15 4:30 Boma
  • 9/16 11:30 Coral Reef / 4:50 Crystal Palace
  • 9/17 12:00 Tusker House / 8:00 Cap'n Jack's
  • 9/18 5:00 Chefs de France
  • 9/19 4:30 Boma
Yeah, I made way too many, but I know we'll cancel a few--a couple as soon as we know which of the early September parties will be P&PP and which will be MNSSHP.

Anyway, Happy Easter everyone!

Well, now you have Easter Weekend! Another reson peeps disappear! :lmao:

Well, unless Sandy cancels on me like MIL did last year (she's not the type!) me dining is set! I think only 1 thing has changed since I posted these last.

Yummo! Delish! I can't believe with all our ADR's we'll never be in the same place at the same time. Except for the big POP GLOW party, that is.

I would love to switch to earlier dates if the general public dates start earlier than our bounceback ones did, but we won't because 1. planning is already done. 2. my kids would still miss nearly 2 full weeks of school, but they'd be the first two weeks, which I personally think would be harder since they'll both be in new schools. 3. then I lose my bragging rights to the fabulous bounceback deal! So, do you already have ADR's in place for the week before? Which comes first, the chicken or the egg (or the cadbury bunny)? Hope your afternoon flies by quickly!

Good thing you said that, I'd better get a contingency plan in place in case they do do the week earlier.... Our schools may or may not be starting the last week of Aug so I figure if it's the first 2 weeks of school will be less homeork than waiting an extra week

OOooo... Isabelle and I saw Mr. Magorium and Enchanted at the theatre! LOVE THEM! In fact, Giselle is now in my top 3 fav. character list! We watched Bee movie Saturday and last night, HSM 1 and That's So Suite Life of Hannah Montana. Have not seen I am Legend yet, is it good? Too scary for Isabelle?

Good point--and doesn't it annoy you that we don't know when school will start next year yet? My kids' district doesn't vote on and publish the calendar until MAY?!? I need more notice than that to schedule my life!

Hope everyone enjoyed their movies, easter egg hunts (groan--no more candy!), etc. Here's a bit of news for us early September-ers from the official WDW website today:

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
Select nights September 5 – October 31, 2008!

link: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wd...ckeysNotSoScaryHalloweenPartySpecialEventPage

Just when I got myself psyched for a P&PP. Oh well--we would have just ended up having to do both, so this will save us some $$ (that I'm sure we'll find a way to spend somewhere else).

Spring break plans, anyone? We were hoping, many, many months ago, to figure out a way to do Disney, but due to major turmoil and upheavel with the in-laws, we'll be sticking around here, hoping at least for some warm weather so we can get outside. I know you northeasterners and midwesterners can relate to that! :cold:

I am totally with you... I hate winter and early spring weather...

We don't plan on doing either party.... but that could change...

Hi everyone! Been quiet around here! LOL!

I finally got in touch with someone at Disney about a donation in honor of Levi for his 2nd birthday! She has been just wonderful! I'll let you know what happens.
