Hello,

I am just starting gathering things for our trip. Saw glow bracelets at Michael's and picked up a couple sealed tubes with 15 glow bracelets. I am going to string them together for my daughter for a necklace during the nightime suff. However, just realized they may not be allowed on the plane (in our checked luggage). Have any of you brought the glow in the dark bracelets in your checked luggage?

Oh yeah, we bring them every year with no problems. I have had our bags searched but never had anything removed or disassembled!

Same here. I put some into all the bags (2 checked and 1 carry on). Never had a problem.

I took suitcase full of sundries and I swear half of it was glow stuff for the kids. Nothing was removed. There was a note that they had been in it but all was there when I arrived.

Glow sticks are fine in checked luggage but since they won't fit in a 3-1-1 bag you can't bring them in your carry-on luggage.

Thanks everyone. We were pretty shocked when our very innocuous stuff had been taken apart (that was in 2007 and I think the US threat level was elevated at that time).
