That will teach me to book early ... booked Globespan flight to return from Orlando after my cruise in September ... have now gone bust and basically I will have to reclaim cost from my credit card company. Unfortunately I had also booked flights from Edinburgh to Manchester and I will lose the money from that because the credit card won't cover it. Feeling really fed up and more than a little bit

this is the statement on the Globespan website re. flights:
"Any customers who have booked a flight through Globespan Airways Limited operating as Flyglobespan are unlikely to be covered by the ATOL scheme.
Customers who have paid by credit card or Visa debit card should contact their card issuer in the first instance to determine whether they can claim a refund under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and/or their insurance provider.
The Companies are unable to offer any refund to customers in respect of cancelled flights, holidays or accommodation."
