Sparked by the "debate" ( ) from the other thread.

Post away!

~EDIT~

Oh and BTW, I know some of you know your stuff. I'm asking you to show it. Also just reiterating to people that this is a debate, not a boxing match. I will have NO personal attacks.

Greeeaatt :)

-------------------
Not a threat for thousands, possibly millions of years.

Not my problem.

I still say it's too cold. Right now, at least.

A little global warming can happen to warm me up. The earth destroying crap can come once I'm dead. I won't mind too much then.

BTW: I know nothing about global warming. At all.

global warming is having an effect on us right now. why do you think the weather has been so crazy? Yes it may not take full effect for a while but it is deffinately starting now. and I honestly don't think there is much that we can do to stop it, slow it down, yes. but i dont think we can stop it, because everything has been building up for years.

The weather has always been crazy though.:confused3

That is what I thought.
That's what I'm asking though. What do you think?

FINGERPRINTS: Direct manifestations of a widespread and long-term trend toward warmer global temperatures
Heat waves and periods of unusually warm weather
Ocean warming, sea-level rise and coastal flooding
Glaciers melting
Arctic and Antarctic warming
HARBINGERS: Events that foreshadow the types of impacts likely to become more frequent and widespread with continued warming.
Spreading disease
Earlier spring arrival
Plant and animal range shifts and population changes
Coral reef bleaching
Downpours, heavy snowfalls, and flooding
Droughts and fires
Just some of the signs

Humans will become obsolete. There's nothing we can do to prevent that.

Putting Vegetable oil in our cars isn't going to help the human race.

Yes it will by not admitting so much Carbon in to the air(gas cars in the number 2 contibution of carbon emittence) will help reduce and repare the ozone layer and help to stabalize our future.

it may help us live a little bit longer after the oil runs out. which is probably going to with in our life time, so start praying that they find oher ways to fuel our everyday needs.

Ethanol and Biodeisle are actually more harmfull to human health than petrol though. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the move. Just saying though.

Oh and I'd like to know the #1 controbution of carbon.
