Problem here is that it has been right at 32 since early, early this morning. It's supposed to drop to about 29-30 tonight and the snow's not supposed to stop until about 4am. It'll make the morning commute lotsa fun. Looking for the school districts around here to cancel school for tomorrow.

8 inches so far in McKinney, Texas! A record! Our school is closed tomorrow, Mike. Amazing they decided that at 3 this afternoon. It has never snowed this much in the Dallas area. We made snowmen, snowball fights and tried sledding but that was not too good. Will try sledding in the morning again to see if the freezing temps made it better. Too cool!

He'll hold another conference in July or August proving how how global warming has made it.

The parish just north of New Orleans is getting their second snow day this winter. I never got a snow day growing up.

Mesquite announced their shutdown about 7:51 tonight, at least that's when I got the email from the school district.

I'm a big fan of Laura Ingraham and try to listen to her every chance I get. According to yesterday's show, now all of the global warming gurus are saying that GW has caused excess moisture which is allowing all of this snow.She had several sound bytes, even as recent as their big summit a few months ago, that completely contradicts what these idiots are saying now. Imagine that!

No power issues here. I do have to do surgery on my Live Oak out front. The weight of the snow split a 4 inch branch and it's now laying down across my sidewalk into the house.

On the News today, they said this is the first time ever it has snowed in all 50 states in the same year.
