Glitch with AP Renewal

I just got a message from a friend. She just renewed their annual passes. They will be in Orlando toward the end of February. She is confused because the expiration date on their new passes says 12/31/2030. She's wondering if they are going to have a problem.

It sounds to me like there is a glitch in Disney's software. Has this happened to anyone else?

Is she sure she renewed and didn't buy a voucher for an AP? I would assume if you had a voucher it night say you had that long because it hadn't been activated yet, and once activated would change to the correct expiration date. Just a thought.

(Barring an MDX glitch, which is always possible...)
If it shows a 2030 expiration date, it is an AP certificate (sometimes called a "voucher,") not a renewed "activated" AP.

If it IS a new AP certificate, make sure that she did not pay the full price for a brand new AP
(as a "renewal" -which she wanted- costs about 15% LESS than buying a new AP.)

BTW, what was/is the expiration date of her original AP?
