OMG! I didn't even think about that! You'll have to lay out your driving itinerary. We check out of BWV on Monday June 18th and then our plans are blurry. I was actually thinking of heading over to Cocoa Beach that afternoon and then touring KSC on the 19th.

We check in on the 19th so we'll probably start driving on the 18th and stop for the night somewhere South Carolina-y or Georgia-ish.

Thank you so much for the pictures! These are the best collection I've seen...there aren't really a lot around. I guess (most) people go there and just relax and put their camera away.

I agree with the poster who said that it would be great to do Vero Beach after WDW; especially after seeing those pictures. I wanna go!

I'm not sure what I was thinking when coming up with the schedule, but we're going to hit WDW like a 1980 Nixon Presidential run -- tan, rested, and ready!

Just going to have chime in again here. Going to the beach before WDW is definately the wise choice. We spent 4 days on Sanibel Island before our Aug 2011 trip and I fell so in love with the place that I would have been totally bummed to leave - except for the fact that we were going straight to Disney World !!!!

Whereas if your in the World and are set to leave to go somewhere else to finish your vacation, you (or your kids) are undoubtedly going to have a few regrets about not spending those extra days at WDW - because everyone knows you never have enough days at WDW. N'est-ce pas?

If you are driving 95 no I am not on your way. If you are cutting 81 to 77 through NC and then over to 95 then I am on the way. I am near both Interstate 85 and 77 in NC.

I thought it looked like a perfect place for the Bachelor Final Rose ceremony and proposal. The garbage can could be just waiting there to place the tray with THE rose on it!

That's hilarious. And it would be a convenient place for the bachelorette to toss the ring after everything goes sour. Although it usually takes about a month after the final episode airs before they figure that out.
