GKTW, Make A Wish, GAC, and front of the line....

Who can tell me once and for all...

If you are on a MAW trip and staying at GKTW, do you AUTOMATICALLY get a GAC? Regardless of your condition at the time of the trip?

Do you only get a GAC or do you also get (or does the GAC function as) a FRONT OF THE LINE pass?

You receive the Guest Assistance Card appropriate for your need at that time.

FYI - we went on a MAW in 2005 for our DS and you get a button to put on the MAW child. This button alerts CM's that you child is on a wish trip. This will not guarantee front of the line access at DW, but although we were told it would not help in the character greeting lines, the CM's took us to the front of the line every time they saw it.

At Univeral Studios, the button worked for both front of the line access and character greeting lines. They were very accommodating. Good luck and have a wonderful trip! If you need any other info on GKTW please PM me.

I'd also suggest the poster look at the information about GACs in the disABILITIES FAQs thread in post #6.

There are special GACs issued only at GKTW. A person cannot get one of these special GACs at Guest Relations.
