I'm posting here because I need your ideas. My daughter will be turning 17 while we are in DW week between X-mas and NY. I want to surprise her with keys to a car (not-new-car will be back in Illinois) but she's been wanting one since the day she got her license. We told her there was no way we could swing that this year (economy....) (wink, wink,...) we are planning to surprise her! So, what I would like to get are some ideas of what would be THE COOLEST way to be surprised!
Ideas?

Maybe sneak it into her purse or suitcase? When she finds it she'll be pretty confused as to whose they are. ;)

Well, whenever my family goes on a vacation my aunt usually will try to sneak into the hotel room before everyone else and put a surprise for each of us kids on our pillow. It's usually something small and she sometimes includes the entire family or whoever else is going with us. You could do this and put the car keys on her pillow before she gets in there. You could either have her involved with picking out the others gifts and tell her she'll get one too just obviously not tell her what it is and just put it on her pillow, or make the entire thing a surprise. I don't know if this would work for you but I think she would certainly be surprised!

Can I just say first off your the coolest parent for doing that?! A car and Disney...wow I'm jealous. I have an idea as to how you could surprise her. If you all like to go on roller coasters the gift shops at the end is where they turn in lost items that were left on the ride. You could talk to a CM working there and give them the keys, before you all ride. When you get off as your walking out of the store tell your daughter that she left something on the ride. She'll of course say she didn't but bring her over to where lost items are found from the ride and the CM can give them to her! I think she would be totally surprised! I hope that made sense, I'm not good at explaining things sometimes. lol Good luck though!

I love your ideas. I was thinking of getting a CM involved at the "Test Track" (I can't remember if it is called that..) at Epcot.

I'll do the whole "we dropped something on the ride" (as you suggested) and send her over to the CM.

:) I can't wait. The car is no big deal (USED and BRUISED) but many of her friends have one by now, and she thinks we are no where close to being able to afford one for her.
We want it being "AT DISNEY" to enhance the experience!

wow!
she must be ever so lucky to have you haha!

good luck with everything and i hope you enjoy your trip :)
