Hey everyone!!!! Ohana & Chef Mickey's are my favorite restraunt in DisneyWorld!! So I would like to know how everyone else is liking or disliking these restraunts??? Now I will know if everyone else likes these restraunts or is it just me??!! Thank you for your reply!!!! ;) :wave2:

We like them both, my wife and kids really like Chef Mickeys, but the price is going up or has gone up and I am not that big on regular buffets. We all love O'hana, it is one of our favorites. I think it was better 5 or 6 years ago, but so was most WDW resties.

We visited both a few weeks ago. We had breakfast at Chef Mickey's. The food was very good. We were seated pretty far from the buffet though.

We LOVED Ohana's. We had dinner there on our first night. Everyone wanted me to make another ADR before we left but they were booked. The whole experience was fantastic. The food, the atmosphere. Lovely.:cheer2:

My family loved both. My DH does not really like WDW just goes for me and he even loved Chef Mickey's. He requested we go again for our 2009 trip. My one DS is really picky and he loved Ohana's. We are going to do breakfast for 09 trip instead of dinner because DD is in love with Stich. I was so hoping for a princess lover but nope I got a Stich lover. :rotfl:

Thank you for all that have replied so far I would love to see more replies thank you:goodvibes

CM dinner was terrible, it was fun but the food was awful.

Trying breakfast there and dinner at Ohana in April

We do Chef Mickeys every trip, we tend to like breakfast just a little more but its a blast either way~
Ohanas we went to for the first time last trip and loved it. We did dinner so this trip we will give breakfast a shot.

We enjoy them both:thumbsup2

We had dinner reservations at Chef Mickey's. The food was ok but the interaction with characters was great and the kids had a great time.
We have also eaten at Ohana's for Character breakfast and loved it. The food was fantastic and hot. Wide variety for all types of appetites.
If I have to prioritize I'd say Ohana's was better.

I love them both. CM is really alot of fun. But I guess I'd pick Ohanas if I had to pick a favorite. :)

We love Ohanas for both breakfast and dinner (although dinner is better), Chef Mickeys is great for breakfast but we did not enjoy dinner there. We have all 3 planned for next fall.

We ate at both in the past.

We had dinner at CM. We enjoyed the interaction with the chars at CM, but the food was just OK IMO.

We had breakfast at Ohana. The kids love Stich. The food was excellent. When we go back in April, we are eating dinner at Ohana. Looking forward to a great meal!

We had lunch at Chef Mickey's last September during Free Dining. The food was not that great, though they had Mickey Macaroni which my girls loved. It is their favorite character meal and we will always do it, but we will do breakfast next time. We haven't tried Ohanas, but from the reviews I think we will in April. Thanks!

We just returned from our trip and we visited O'Hana's breakfast for the first time during this trip. I thought it was great! Typical breakfast food, great character interaction and good service. No complaints at all.

In the past we have eaten dinner at O'Hana's (before they changed the menu from rice to cheesy potatoes) and also Chef Mickey's for Breakfast and also thought both were great.

O'Hana's breakfast was served family style where Chef Mickey's is a buffet and offered more variety.

Besides that, we loved them both!

Chef Mickey's is still fun with our oldest (13) and the salad bar is the best on property. We love Ohana's it is such a nice change, we relax and have a nice calm evening.

We have eaten dinner at Chef Mickey's, breakfast at O'hana's (w/ Lilo & Stitch), along with dinner at O'hana's.

We only enjoyed Chef Mickey's for the character interaction (and location.) My DS & DD were dressed up as Mickey & Minnie (looking pretty spectacular, might I add.) ;) They seemed to get extra special attention because of this--including several pics w/ Minnie & Mickey together.

But, that was the best of it. The food was pretty -blah-. We were so disappointed. We pretty much just stuck with the salad bar & fruit, because the hot items were gross. (Maybe it was a bad night???) We are all MEAT eaters, and it was pretty bad for my DH to stick with the raw veggies & fruit!

Now, for O'hana's, we absolutely, positively LOVED IT!!! The characters were so fun & crazy at the breakfast. Pluto & Stitch chased each other around the restaurant & "fought" the whole morning. That juice was to die for (can't remember what it was made of??)

Our dinner at O'hana's was incredible, also. The food was delicious, and we (almost) had a window table to watch the fireworks. We were so close, that we didn't miss anything at all. And, our kiddos had so much fun playing all of the "Hawaiian" type games.

We are going back to WDW in June, and we made SURE to book O'hana's for breakfast and dinner (but chose to steer clear of CM.)

102 Days till we're living our Dreams at the World!

:rotfl:

I got a Stitch lover too! But my DD is 11 - couldn't get her near a character nevermind a princess with a cattle prod (not that I've tried ;) ). But she was all over Stitch! Even got Stitch Ears instead of Micky ears!:lmao:

We love Chef Mickey, and do a charactor breakfast every trip. I think dh and I enjoy it just as much as the kids. We have done Ohana but not a charactor thing. We had the buffet dinner there in 2005. We loved that. Food was great and so was the atmospher.:wizard:
