I love WDW. I love the rides and I'd spend all day and night at the park from RD to close every day for all 7 days of a trip. I don't mind the crowds or lines or anything.
My wife likes WDW but she wants something more relaxing. She likes the pool and doesn't want to be scheduled. She doesn't like the repetitiveness of the quick service. She doesn't like MK because it's too crowded and "rushed" feeling. I think Epcot is her favorite park.
We have DD6 and DS4 (age for our Easter Trip) who of course love the MK rides, but they also love the pool.
I want to make this trip less scheduled and more relaxing for my wife. I need some help figuring stuff out.
First thing, I know we need to do the 7AM EMH at MK to avoid the crowds. But should we do it every day? I want to, but my wife probably doesn't.
Second, I have booked some ADRs for each day of our trip. Knowing that she dislikes the quick service and would probably appreciate Epcot international food I went ahead and did:
Garden Grill
Coral Reef
Tutto Italia Ristorante
Nine Dragons
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeia
Rose & Crown
all reservations at 5:30 so we'll be able to get back by 7 to get the kids in bed so we can get up at 5 for the 7AM EMH. I have a reservation every night except our last night. Also Garden Grill is our arrival day, but should I cancel that, is it too much to get to an ADR on the arrival day?
My plan is this: Get up at 5AM, be at the bus stop at 6:15, get to MK EMH at 7AM. Rides until 10AM, then FP+ from 10-11, 11-12, 12-1. Lunch at 10:30, leave at 12:00 after using our final FP. Get to the hotel at 1:00 (we're at Wilderness lodge 3 days, then Beach Club for 4 days) and change, do the pool from 1:30-4:00, then go to the room and change and go to Epcot for our ADRs, then back to the hotel and in bed by 8 so we'll be ready to get back up at 5AM.
I think this is a good plan. But my wife has complained on previous trips about being overly scheduled and not relaxed. She may not like this type of scheduled trip. So what are your guys' ideas on how to make a relaxing trip? I'm open to pretty much anything.
