Give me an AP & look what happens - 2 for 1 PTR!! NEW 3/11 p.63 TR Link

Hi Amy....I missed the update about GG, but I'm glad surgery went well. I'm praying for her quick recovery.

Your plans look fantastic! All the ADR talk has my stomach growling! Love 'Ohana...can't wait to hear how you like it for dinner as we've only done breakfast.

Can you believe you are going to be in WDW THIS MONTH! YAY! :yay: :yay:

After a huge (and very successful) event that I chaired at school yesterday, plus the kickoff of our PTO fundraiser today, and work this morning (what was I thinking by scheduling myself to work today), I came home to just chill out & relax! :cloud9: Only to discover my computer acting up! :headache: I've made it work for now and plan to catch up on some DISing this afternoon.

First a quick GG update. Well apparently the "little bit of fluid" in GG's lungs after surgery were actually an early sign of congestive heart failure! :scared1: Luckily those diuretics did the trick because she is making major improvement! Today Nancy arrived at the hospital to find her sitting up in bed eating... feeding herself! It also turns out she had a broken pelvis... not just her hip! The plan is to get her transferred over to a rehab facility where she will stay for several weeks. Thank you to all for the positive thoughts coming our way!

With only 17 days to go until my girls weekend, I have two big posts for you today! Stay tuned!

Oh I was sooo close to buying that too! I had it in my h*** (the other style they had with that pattern was really cute too) but changed my mind at the last minute. :headache:

Perhaps it deserves another look..... :rolleyes1

Hope to hear continued good news for GG. :goodvibes

It's not something I would normally buy but I could picture it perfectly as my carry on bag! :thumbsup2 They had a small tote bag in the same pattern, but it didn't have a closure. There were also some smaller items.

Continued prayers *** pixie dust for GG as she recovers from her surgery.

Thank you!

 *** pixiedust: for you....

Thanks Julie!

Hi Missy!! I'm excited to try some new places in Feb/March!

Yes this month!! The funny thing is, I feel like I was saying that for the first time just yesterday! I can't believe it's already the 13th! This month has been flying by!

Here are some pictures of the little booklet I put together for Laura:

I don't love this page... I sort of rushed through it so there are definitely more things I could have added.

Up next: Day two touring plans

There is so much to do at Epcot & the more I think about it, the more I think we might be better off spending our "open" night (Day 3 - Saturday night) at Epcot... But for now, I've come up with a one day Epcot Touring Plan. My main goals are to do as much as we can & to avoid too much zig zagging. I'd love your input!

• Grab breakfast at Boardwalk Bakery
• Head to International Gateway by 8:40
• Head straight to the Land – get FP for Soarin’
• Living with the Land? (13 min)
• Ride Soarin’
• Grab more FP for later
• Spaceship Earth – now or later?
• Grab KP Mission FP (not sure if we'll do this or not)
• Seas/Nemo?
• Head to Imagination Pavilion
• Figment (6 min)
• Captain EO (15 min)
• Work our way toward Japan – 12:10 Teppan Edo
• Tour American Adventure (45 minute show)/Japan/Morocco/France (film?)/UK/Canada (film)
• Grab Test Track FPs?
• Break? (3-5)
• Soarin’ again?
• Test Track? (definitely not a priority if it doesn't fit)
• Ride SSE (if we didn't ride in the am)
• Mexico/Norway/China (acrobats at 6:15)/Germany/Italy
• Via Napoli at 7pm (or CS?)
• Snacks & Find spot for Illuminations
• Illuminations

That seems like a VERY full day - especially with F&W going on... what do you think? Is is possible? Is there a better order for us to follow?

Up next Day 3 & 4 touring plans

Touring plan looks good. I think I'd hit SSE the second time by. And because of F&W I'd start WS as close to 11am as possible, but it looks like your plan does that already.

I guess I missed that you were going to FRESH. When your there.....see if you can picture Liam and Danica there because it had been on my short list but I'm afraid it will take too long to get food.

Hi Heidi! I suspect we'll hit SSE later in the day... There's never a line later on. I couldn't figure out where to put it at first... not knowing if we'd get back over to FW later in the day.

FRESH was a later addition. Originally the plan was to go to Captain's Grille but ran across FRESH and thought it sounded good. Plus Laura likes her Starbucks that we can find over at the Dolphin. :thumbsup2 I'll keep Liam & Danica in mind when we are there.

How scary about the fluid in GG's lungs! So glad to hear she is sitting up and feeding herself already!

The book looks great!!! It's too cute! Laura will be thrilled with it!

Hi Amy!:goodvibes

Finally back and all caught up!! Thanks to your handy update links!:thumbsup2

I'm glad GG's surgery went well. I'll continue to send prayers and pixie dust her way for a quick recovery.:goodvibes

I can't believe you only have 17 days until your girls trip! You must be so excited!!

Your ADR's for your Feb. trip look great!! Ohana's (dinner) and Sci-Fi are two of the places we are hoping to try when we go back!:)

Cute Mickey bag!! And...Wow! Love the booklet you made for Laura! What a great idea! I'm sure she'll love it!!:thumbsup2

Hi Amy...sorry to hear up and down news for Tim's Grandma...but happy the doctors seem to be on top of things and she is making strides toward recovery...

cool to see "my" planning itinerary pages in Amy's book....it looks great :thumbsup2 I love all the info and the borders...very cool, gives me some other ideas of what to do for my inlaws.

Epcot day does look mighty full...I'd keep it as is but w/ two contigencies and maybe cut a few of the smaller probable non essentials....figment...yes he is so CUTE, but the ride is so sad compared to the orginal...Seas is good but there are so many other WOW's I'd skip it for...

1) make a 5 point GOAL list of what you really want to see and experience to help you decide if you need to veer of course

2) decide ahead of time how much the break is needed and for how long in case you need to wriggle around it a bit...but great you are sooooo close to the park it should be easy to take a quick re-fresher...sort of like my MK days in Nov and how close we are.

Oh that's scary about GG but what a blessing she was having the hip surgery and they caught the fluid and the pelvis and that she's improving!

The plans look great, you will LOVE the tea, so girly and fun. I am looking forward to hearing about FRESH, I don't know a thing about it!

Can't you get coffee at the Bakery too? I didn't see that on the list but thought you could.

What a fun fun girls weekend!

Thanks for sharing the UK phone booth numbers! That's so cool!

Glad to hear GG made it out of surgery okay. I'll pray for a speedy recovery. Sitting up so soon is a good sign!

Love the pages you put together for Laura! :goodvibes

Hi Everyone!! GG is doing great! She's been moved to a rehab facility right near the hospital. She's really tired from her healing & her therapy, but improving every day! Thanks again for all of the positive thoughts! :goodvibes

I agree about the Epcot plan... I have everything on there so I won't forget anything, but there are definitely things we can skip. I'll let Laura pick her top five and we'll make sure we hit those.

I can't wait to get myself a bowl of those yummy looking strawberries & cream! Mmm... :cloud9:

Good question about the bakery coffee... I'm sure you can get coffee there, but maybe it's the nescrape. :confused3

Isn't that so cool that you can call the UK phone booths! :thumbsup2 I can't wait to give it a try!

Thanks about the booklet - it was so fun to make!

I'm going to skip Day three since it's pretty straight forward... Breakfast at FRESH, DTD for shopping & lunch, tea at the GF then off to MK or Epcot. Since we don't know which park we'll be visiting, it will all be bonus time. If we end up at MK, we'll probably see MSEP and Wishes.

Day four will be Magic Kingdom & departure day. :sad2: I'm struggling with this plan the most. I really hate to zig zag but I don't know how to avoid it... Luckily people are reporting really low crowds and short waits so hopefully that will continue for two more weeks. Again I feel like I'm stuffing way more into the plan than we'll actually be able to do. Laura has been to MK before so hopefully she'll have a sense of what she wants to do & what she wants to skip. We'll see...

Here's what I have so far...

• Grab breakfast at Boardwalk Bakery
• Check out & store luggage
• Catch bus to MK by 8:15
• Hopefully catch the opening ceremony (enter right tunnel ;))
• Fantasyland
o Grab FPs for Peter Pan
o Ride Pooh
o See Mickey’s Phiharmagic
• Adventureland
o Jungle Cruise or grab FP?
o POTC
• Frontierland
o BTMRR (FP?)
o Splash (FP?)
• Liberty Square
o Haunted Mansion
o Hall of Presidents
o Lunch?
o Run ahead for FPs to Buzz?
• Back to Fantasyland
o Peter Pan
o Mickey’s Philharmagic (if didn’t see before)
• Tomorrowland
o Buzz (FP?)
o TTA
o Carousel of Progress
o Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor
• Pop into Expo Hall
• Bus back to BWI
• Collect bags & do airline check in (we paid for Early Bird check-in with Southwest so we won't have to worry about 24 hour check-in)
• ME Bus to airport around 4:30pm

How'd I do?

you lost me at "have breakfast, check and store luggage" and still catching the bus by 8:15!

:lmao:

Other than that well, it' is a lot but not impossible either.

Yeah... we'll see... I think you can pick stuff up at the Boardwalk Bakery the day before and save it for morning... there's always breakfast at MK.

I guess I want to be optimistic. :rolleyes1
