Give me an AP & look what happens - 2 for 1 PTR!! NEW 3/11 p.63 TR Link

that's some expensive nuggets! But his reasoning is sound.

CUTE BTS pics and from the lake, they are just adorable. YAY for great first days, ours is tomorrow.

LOVE the first day of school pics! One more week and I'll have some of my own to post. The boys are looking so handsome and grown-up!

Great snag on the Chef Mickey's ADR. I guess it's NOT all about the chicken, huh? ;)

The lake looks like fun! :thumbsup2

It's hard not to give into the kids when they express liking something at Disney. After all, they won't be little forever! (That's always my reasoning anyways. ;))

Everything is coming together so well Amy! The boys looked great on their first day of school and it's awesome they had a good first day! Gabe doesn't start Kindergarten until next Thursday! So we have a bit of a wait yet, we have Open House tonight though and finally get to meet his teacher!

So cute how Alex likes the "people" at Chef Mickey's! I hope he eats a TON of chicken nuggets! ;) We still want to make it to Chef Mickey's, I know the kids would like it and Cory and I would love to see more of the inside of the Contemporary! I hope you can work out your Le Cellier ADR!!!

Yes - Chef Mickey's is about Mickey! :thumbsup2

Hope your first day of school went well!

Thanks Missy! Can't wait to see your pictures of the boys!

Hopefully Chef Mickey's will be a good re-do for me after the tummy issues last time. :rolleyes1

I definitely like to give them some choices during vacation - afterall it's their vacation too, right?

Good luck with kindergarten next week! Are you both ready? Sometimes it can be harder for mom than the kids! I saw quite a few crying mommy's at school Monday morning.

I'm getting more excited with the idea of Chef Mickey's on our first night. I think it will be a great way to kick things off!

Did anybody notice what month it is today?

I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD THIS MONTH!!!:banana::banana:

Day 2, Monday, February 28:

Plans for today are Epcot, Epcot & Epcot!! I’m not sure if we’ll still be there at dinner so I had planned Teppan Edo for lunch. Teppan Edo doesn’t participate in the Tables in Wonderland discount but we get 10% off at lunch since I'm an annual passholder. So it made sense to book Teppan Edo for today. Done!

But here’s the Le Cellier snag I mentioned earlier… I had originally planned to try to get a dinner ADR on Thursday 3/3… and I will still do that, but as of 3/1 Le Cellier becomes a signature restaurant. We aren’t on the DDP so it doesn’t matter all that much EXCEPT I heard the menu may change! If they add a few things, fine. If they up the prices a bit, fine. But what if they remove our favorites or jack the prices way up… Just in case this happens I made a dinner ADR for Le Cellier for today, the last day before the changes (hopefully). I requested 5pm and got 4:35. :thumbsup2 Though now I'm second guessing the time... Maybe I should stick with lunch since we don't plan to be there late. :confused3 Le Cellier just seems so much more like a dinner restaurant than a lunch restaurant.

I’m going to wait until I see the new menu to decide which one to keep. Now I have to figure out how to reshuffle the other Epcot ADRs based on Plan B! :headache: Why do I always do this to myself? :confused3

Up next: Day 3 ADRs

The question really is: Why do you want to eat at LeCellier? Because you or Tim love the steak? The cheese soup? To do just love all things Canadian, eh? Is it the cute little Moose dessert?

Steak is still going to be on the menu so will the soup. If it's not a price change that worries you, I really wouldn't worry about a rumored menu change.

I guess it's the price more than anything... We always get the filet. I guess I have a worst case scenario in my head where they totally revamp the menu and the prices go sky high. :confused3 Maybe it's just fear of the unknown...

What's the price of the filet at Yatchman's or Cali Grill? It should stay in line with those (I would think it would less)

Good point! I hadn't thought to look at the other signature restaurants! Thanks!

Hmmm... Yachtsman's filet is $40. Cali Grill is $44. Le Cellier is currently $35 at dinner & only $26 at lunch! I'm thinking lunch on 2/28 might be the best bet!

So if we want to keep Teppan Edo for lunch, we move that to Saturday & Chefs of France ends up as dinner on Thursday night. :thumbsup2

Unless we want to go to Le Cellier for lunch AFTER the switch... just to check things out... :confused3

I would definitely try to not worry about Le Cellier until after you see the changes. I am curious as to what these new menu changes might be, but as Heidi pointed out there will still be soup and steak.

Thanks Jackie! I think that will end up being what I do... I just hate being the ADR lady... you know, like the bag lady, but with "back-up" ADRs!

Day 3 - Tuesday, 3/1:

Plans for today are MK early & MK late! I was able to get an 8:05 Crystal Palace ADR as well as a 5:00pm dinner ADR at Ohana! This will be a first for us!! As will walking up an empty Main Street!!

You know Jeff's girlfriend Karen is Canadian... :rolleyes1 She's my favorite sister-in-law and she isn't even officially my sister-in-law.

The "people" comment cracked me up! Luckily he shared it with me at the beginning of ADR week rather than the night before our trip!

Day 4 - Wednesday 3/2:
Today is our DHS day. I booked Sci Fi Dine-in for lunch at 11:30am. :thumbsup2 Another first for us.

I promise this will get more interesting tomorrow...
