Who has done this, and how has it worked out for you? Considering doing something or DH's birthday, but kind of lost right now - TIA! :goodvibes

Last year we went to WDW to celebrate my birthday and we were staying at the All Star Movies resort. On the first day there, my wife asked me to go get her some coffee, a toothbrush, and some other stuff she had forgotten. So i went...

...when I came back , she had completely redecorated the room with Mickey stuff. She basically bought a ton of Mickey-related stuff (the type you would find in children theme parties) in places such as Walmart and Kmart and she even cut out like a million Mickey ears in paper of different colors and hung it all over the room. It really looked amazing and made for an unforgettable experience. :wizard:

Besides, I thought it was really cute from here and a very nice thing to do. It was extremely thoughtful, cost-efficient and magical. A perfect Disney combination!

Plus, it solved the mystery of why she wouldn't let me open her suitcase! :rotfl2:

I had the Disney Florist decorate our room last year for Halloween. I purchased the Halloween "Mickey's Sppoctacular Celebration". It was fantastic. I added an extra pumpkin with treats since I have 2 children. The disney florist decorated the room while we were at the MNSSHP. We came back and my children were somewhat confused due to the decoration on the door. They placed several of the decorations on the bed... Mickey and Minnie and they were wearing Halloween masks. They decorated the table with all kinds of Halloween. It was great and we are going to do it again this year. I really think that I will try the "A Pirate's Adventure".

That sounds awesome - is Disney Florist pretty easy to work with?

Yes, it was very simple and easy. I called them and told them what I wanted to do. I explained to them that I wanted the Mickey's Spocktacular Celebration. I understood that the celebration comes with one Mickey Pumpkin filled with treats for trick or treating, but I need 2. They were able to ensure the items in both of the pumpkins were for a boy and a girl. I wanted to have the room decorated the day we arrived. But since we came in at 4p that day, they couldn't do it that day due to the flight being delayed etc. They have different delivery times as late as 8p. The room was decorated the following night.

The only issue is the amount of money. It is expensive. But what joy you will have when you see the expressions. I think it's a must!!! :thumbsup2

I have used Disney Florist 4 times now. They are great to work with and the end product is great. I'll be using them again for our upcoming vacation.

Hey so I just found out about the "Give A Magical Experience" for the Disneyland resort hotels. I will be staying at one of the hotels and my sisters birthday is the same weekend we are going. Does anyone know how much it costs for the "Sensational Resort Room Celebrations"?:confused3
