For those of you interested in looking at the taxable value of your DVC investment, you can use the following link. Orange County has their GIS system online and it is fairly easy to use.

click: Orange County Property

The easiest way to navigate to one of the DVC properties is to use the Search by Parcel Number menu option. Below is a table with some appropriate values to fill in to the Parcel Number page for each DVC Resort. The Block and Lot are different for each individual building.

<table cellspacing=6><tr><td><B>Resort</B></td><td><B>Section</B></td><td><B>Township</B></td><td><B>Range</B></td><td><B>Subdivision</B></td><td><B>Block</B></td><td><B>Lot</B></td></tr><tr><td>BWV</td><td>30</td><td>24</td><td>28</td><td>8950</td><td>40</td><td>002</td></tr><tr><td>BCV</td><td>30</td><td>24</td><td>28</td><td>2080</td><td>74</td><td>000</td></tr><tr><td>OKW</td><td>29</td><td>24</td><td>28</td><td>2087</td><td>24</td><td>000</td></tr><tr><td>WLV</td><td>12</td><td>24</td><td>27</td><td>7234</td><td>32</td><td>001</td></tr></table>
Fill in the form and click search. Then you can use the Zoom, Pan, Select Parcel commands from the map. Once you zoom in close enough to see the outlines of the buildings, you can click the "Select Parcel" button and then click on one of the buildings in the map. Wait for the display to update and then click the "Property Details" button to get Taxable Value information. The information in the table above will automatically select one of the buildings at each resort.

You can also click the "Advanced Mapping" button and then check the "Aerial Photography" setting and then click the "Update Map" button to see an aerial photo of the property site with the building lines overlayed.

You can also view the information for all of the Disney holdings. Here are a few interesting details.
<table cellspacing=6><tr><td><B>Property</B></td><td><B>TaxableValue</B></td></tr><tr><td>Magic Kingdom</td><td>$390 million</td></tr><tr><td>EPCOT</td><td>$361 million</td></tr><tr><td>MGM</td><td>$317 million</td></tr><tr><td>Animal Kingdom</td><td>$193 million</td></tr><tr><td>Coronado Resort</td><td>$141 million</td></tr><tr><td>Blizzard Beach</td><td>$43 million</td></tr><tr><td>Typhoon Lagoon</td><td>$32 million</td></tr></table>

Not a bad return considering the whole shootin' match was bought for about $5 million.
