Day 14 May 25th Shopping, IOA and Universal!
Kara was up like a lark this morning she had saved £1000 from her wages (but what about your student loan asks the ever sensible Mother
.what about it says a 20 year old who doesnt plan further than next week!! 
)
For all you fashion victims out there the top is Donna Karan, trousers Karen Millen and the flip-flops are New Look! Only a 20 year old can get away with teaming a £400 top with £10 shoes!!!!
All the reports had told us that Mall at Millenium was the place to go for designer goods. Lucy and I set off to IOA and Kara caught a taxi to go spending big time.
When we arrived at IOA there was a film crew by The Hulk Lucy was all excited, so sure that her hair would get her noticed!, no chance ..they had brought their own people with them!! So all those beautiful people you see on the advert are all specially chosen!
See the parks are empty!
Apart from the film crew the park was totally empty, did the rides that we wanted to do and then went back to the hotel to pick up another travellers cheque (!) and headed off to Universal. Nipped round the rides there and were back lying by the pool at 12.30! Now thats park hopping for you, hardly any need for FOTL, but still used it (we just like flashing the room card!!)
Once we got back to the pool Lucy kept asking What time will Kara be back? I dont know Lucy, how long does it take to spend a grand!
About 1pm I heard a happy sounding voice yep, you guessed it. Shes back weighed down with very expensive looking shopping bags.
Jimmy Choo shoes ($500), Christian Dior sunglasses ($250), Hugo Boss shirts ($200), Victoria Secrets ($100), Tiffany bracelet and necklace ($500) and a Bloomingdales Medium Brown Bag (£50). And still came away with $500 left
(Kara is currently away in Palma, Majorca when she comes back i will take a photo of all the stuff - the Jimmy Choo's are bright orange!)
Even the ladies from the nearby cabana came for a look at all the goods!
They treated me really well, ordering me a cab and carrying my bags for me says Kara.
Yes, I bet they did
Lucy by now sick of girly talk goes off to make a pizza with the chefs from The Kitchen: as she was the only child doing this they only charged me $4.
We sat and ate it by the pool and it was delicious.
Headed off-site tonight, we had to buy another suitcase to carry the designer goods and the cuddly toys home! The luggage guys gave us a lift to the nearest Wall-Greens and then we crossed a very busy road to eat in Hooters.
Unfortunately we were unaware that it was some sort of final in the wrestling on TV so it was packed to the rafters with locals felt very uncomfortable. After all we looked like tourist suitcase and no man with us. Probably the one and only time I had really really wished Andy had been with us!
Luckily there were some blokes there that we recognised from by the hotel pool so that made me feel a little bit safer taxi eventually arrived an hour after ordering it.
Glad to get back to the HRH tonight would never consider going off-site again unless I was with Andy! Nipped over to "The Globe" for the usual photo, that every single one of us has in the photo album
Lucy has still got the infamous sweatshirt on!!
