Girls only trip to the most magical place on earth!

Hello everyone!
This is something internally i have been wanting to do for a while but untill now i have never worked up enough nerve. Still not sure that my reports will be half as good as the hundreds i have read here on disboards, but what the heck it sounds fun!

So now for the who what where when and why!



For a couple years now my Disney crazy aunt has promised that for my sixteenth birthday my big gift would be a girls only trip to the wonderful world of Disney! Of course i never forgot a promise like that! Last june was my birthday and the trip planning began for the winter time where the weather would be cooler, and crowds would be bearable. We have a pretty layed back itinerary but we definetly know the places we HAVE to hit. And guess what.....




WE LEAVE IN 4 DAYS!!!

The Cast:

Merincess: i am in love with most things disney, but sadly havent been to the world since i was really little. We started taking trips to the universal side untill my aunt decided to rescue me this year to take me back to the most magical place on earth! I have had an obsession with Mary Poppins sense i could remember and actually another present i got was to see Mary Poppins on broadway !!

DA Karen: : My aunt, who frankly is the best gift giver ever! She is in love with all things disney and her favorite characters are....Figment the Dragon and Winnie the Pooh! She planned this trip for the most part with little help from me and taught me all i know about Disney. This year she is leaving her husband at home so she can take her favorite niece on the most memorable vacation ever!


We will be staying at the POFQ from 2/4/09- 2/8/09.

Okay, I am still trying to get the hang of this!

Day 1 Plans
Wednesday

The car picks us up at a quarter to 5 IN THE MORNING! Still trying to figure out how i am going to be able to move at that hour. But i suppose the adreneline will kick in the second i open my eyes and realize that within a couple hours ill be in WDW.

Flying out of Newark, Nj

We should arrive at the POFQ by 10:30am. Leaving time to explore the resort and go to one of our favorite parks, Magic Kingdom.

Then taking a ride on the monorail and ending our perfect day with dinner at Ohana's

DA has yet to put her clothes in a bag but, i have been packed for over a week, and i must say i was awfully neurotic about it . And the weather is confusing me even more. It origionally looked like we were going to be enjoying florida in the high seventies but with this nasty weather passing through i am not to sure anymore. Then you also have to be concerned about more snow wednesday morning for our flight. So i frequently check the weather, not that i would be able to change anything if it was bad but.

Anyways my 9 year old brother is anxiously awaiting my departure from the house for an entire week, i am his ultimate enemy in life . I think he's counting down the days just like i am !

Here are our Day 2 Plans:
Thursday

In the morning, head over to Epcot and eat somewhere in the World Showcase for lunch. Making it a point to ride on Soaring, Test Track, Mission Space, Space Ship Earth, and go see Imagination with Figment the Dragon!

Later a possible ADR at the 50's Prime Time Cafe (which she can not wait to take me to, i was a little hesistant at first but now i am all for it!) and then

Hollywood Studios EMH. Definetly, TOT in the dark. This is her favorite ride and she will be devirginizing me of it. Something new for both of us is DA has never been on this ride in the dark!

Since today is the Super Bowl, I have to study for finals that are tomorrow( i procrastinate) and i am currently running on under 2 hours of sleep this will be short, sweet and to the point.


My aunt and I have been exchanging emails and phone calls sense June and as the trip comes closer the more my inbox is filled. I have done so much research on every and all things Disney that i think she is starting to feel a little intimidated by my sudden knowledge! And actually it just dawned on me that we will be there in .....





THREE DAYS

And as for the weather , im hoping the so called "Sunshine State" pulls through for me. Anything is warmer than here though, i suppose.

Day 3 Plans:
Friday

Not exactly sure what were gonna do but the plan is as follows

Morning going to Animal Kingdom

Then Hollywood studios in the afternoon

Difinetly dinner at the hoop dee doo review.

Today was my last day of school before i leave, my last track practice, and final exams are over!!

Not even two days left! I'll be at DA's tomorrow and then off we go wednesday morning!

And even better is that the weather here on wednesday is looking a lot better so everything with our flight should be okay!


Day 4 Plans:
Saturday

Probably magic kingdom in the morning and then later in the day Epcot or Hollywood studios and something fun for dinner. I honestly am not all to positive on this day as i havent spoke to my aunt yet but i do know this basically is what we plan on. Maybe if the weather is nice we will even get some pool time in!!!

Today, DA picked me up and we went shopping for "going away" outfits. And NEW SHOES!!

Hopefully our flight wont get delayed, it is getting me a little nervous with this continuous falling of snow.

We are finishing packing and getting last minute things together. Showering and then trying to go to bed , which i do not know how i can get one blink of sleep with all of this excitement.

TOMORROW'S THE BIG DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday will be our last day at the world, we will be heading over to HS and riding some of our favorite rides. Then we will eat lunch and have to catch our Magical Express bus back to the airport for a 5pm flight.
