Ok--I haven't read very far back--I just got home from having a glass of Magicale at the Grand Cal with Jen, Donna, Vicki, Mary Jo, Katie (and Laila!), Jill, and Jen's good friend Kristen (who is a hoot and totally needs to be a Diva--she LOVES Disneyland!) We had a great time and it was good to see everyone. the gals who went into the parks today said it was pretty busy.

I'm pretty tired too and am going to bed but wanted to check in and say "hi"--Jen seems to be enjoying her adventure to Switzerland despite some differences (like you have to pay per the bag to throw out trash!)

She bought some yummy looking cupcakes at the new kiosk but I haven't tried mine yet.

Cheryl has more restraint - Jill and I already tasted ours! They were so fresh and tender - like they baked them an hour ago. Highly recommended.

The time just flew by and you always feel like you wanted to spend more time talking, catching up with everyone. Jen just glows or maybe she got some sun while at DL. (seriously, she looks great).

I posted on fb, but to see Jill's face light up when she took her first taste of Magicale, was something wonderful.

I HATE COUCH SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe my old couch isn't so bad.

Having gone through this earlier this year, my answer was to order from the internet - great savings that way. Do you know what kind of couch you want? A sectional? One with recline?

I'll tell you the best $200 we spent this year...for my leeeeetle one Spikey! I love love love him so much. He follows me around the house and is just such a good boy.

He sounds like my little Farley (who follows me too... but poor guy is sick... hopefully getting better).

That is my favorite so far!!!!

Our PS reservation for Steakhouse 55 for 16 people @ 9:30am on March 1, 2010 has been confirmed. They are giving us the Oak room and since it's for 16 we have two openings if anyone wants to join last minute.

Since this week is so rushed with being on our own and the wedding on Saturday we decided to postpone our Disneyland trip to next Sunday. I know it's a "holiday" weekend but I think we can manage since we are three able bodied youngsters

I hope everyone else is having a good week. Tomorrow we are just lounging around the house, cleaning and I'll probably go to my cousin's wedding rehearsal (never been to one) and join them for dinner afterward. I can't believe that in 36 hours my cousin will be married! Oh and speaking of eyebrow waxing my caterpillars got to go for the wedding! Today I bought Anais her dress and shoes all for less than $50. She's going to look so pretty

Steph, I would LOVE one of your itinerary sheets! I get so confuzzled!

Cristabel you are doing great with your sis! Enjoy the wedding this weekend! I love weddings they are always so fun! Take pics!! Thanks SO much for doing the Steakhouse ressie! I am excited to eat there. I have eaten breakfast there back in 04 but I am sure it is different and better now! Can't wait!

Linda I am not sure exactly what site my mom found those fares on. I know what you mean about the fares being outrages. The three times we went we flew on Delta twice and American once. We got 200 rt on Delta and American in 02 and 05 going through a travel agent and then we made a boo boo in 08 cuz we waited too long PLUS we flew on Thanksgiving week. We found OK fares on Delta but we thought we could get cheaper on Southwest and since they don't post till 6 months out we waited and waited and then they WEREN'T cheap. So we went back with Delta and we paid almost 400 per person. OUCH! All 7 of us went and it was outrageous!

We looked at Delta the other day just for the heck of it and we just one stop it was 6 something which is ridiculous but it is still early. So she went back to the office and said she searched some of the sites and found that American flight. Now we were going to be flying on a Thur and return on a Sunday in Nov so maybe that was the diff but I will ask her today when I go in to work where she found the fares.

I have never been on a cruise and ALWAYS wanted to go so I really hope it works out!!

I can tell you though we usually on go to DW every 3 years and we actually have NO plans to go back any time soon although I know we WILL go back someday just not sure when cuz there are other things we want to do like our road trip, Europe Hawaii etc etc so I know it will be REALLY hard to be RIGHT there and NOT go. We ARE planning to go to Epcot for one day but we won't go to any of the other parks so it will be hard BUt I really want to do the cruise so that will be fun too!

Anyway we went to mom and dads and watched the game and even though I am not a big sports watcher on tv that game got pretty exciting. Right to the last few minutes.

Today I have to go in to work and then nothing I know of on the schedule for tonight.

Shane FINALLY got his claim form from EDD but that means prob another week min before we get his check. By then he will prob get paid from working tile again BUT at least it will be money but we are going to be sucking wind UNTIL then. We need groceries bad and Shelby needs some basketball shorts but we will just have to make due another week. Mom said she can give me a little money to tide us over thank goodness. I HATE this. UGH!

Anyway Katy has a soccer game tomorrow and Shelby starts her basketball so it should be an exciting sports day and hopefully we will go to church on Sunday. We have had SO much going on we haven't been in a few weeks.

Not much else going on but looking forward to MLK weekend. I am HOPING shane will be working more steady by then and I can take the girls to a movie or something. I guess we will have to wait and see. If not we will just stay home and have a dvd marathon and eat some junk food!

I forgot everything I wanted to say, but I think that Beth is telling to quit working & school so I can hangout on the DIS, Jill loved her first class of Magicale , yesterday at work I quoted Sixteen Candles all day (after seeing the Las Vegas thread...),Cristabel is being a good sister & we have PS's for breakfast-yummy!, AmySue needs a new couch (so do I, I love my Lazy Boy reclining couch, I would get another one), Sarah May & I both like shopping for houses (where is that money tree I planted?? damn brown thumb, i prolly forgot to water it), I get to live at DL & Court's gonna be my roomie, Stacie is loving her new job, Stacielee is thinking of going to WDW (so are we, we have a free wk in our timeshare so we can stay at Bonnet Creek, or Hawaii....), I still need my vavoom Tie Dye shirt, and oh and I am taking German in school & while I study, I am teaching the boys.

I had a nice time last night eventhough it was a little stressful trying to actually make it there. I had some babysitting issues & ended up leaving my older DD at home & had to beg a neighbor to pick my son up from his wrestling game. Then I ended up having to bring the baby. She's a good baby but I just really wanted to get out for a few hours alone.

It was nice seeing Jen since it will probably be awhile before I see her again , but she looked great. It was fun just chatting the night away & enjoying a glass or 2 of Magicale (it was also my first time trying it- YUMMY). We have a great bunch of Divas & I always enjoying hanging out with you guys!!!

Well, it started snowing yesterday and I don't think that it has stopped. Meghan got out of Kindergarten an hour early yesterday. Hubby came home and took Meghan and Donovan (3 years old) out to play. They are now outside again playing. It almost looks fake because it is so light and fluffy!! The kids are having a ball and oh, school was cancelled today. My goal today is to finish putting away everything Christmas. The tree has been down for awhile, but lots of other decor is still out.

Hello ladies! Our trip is going to be here before you know it, and I am so ready!
Marty's back is finally getting better. He stayed down Mon-Wed, and then he went to help me with our Thursday catering job. Thankfully we had an extra volunteer, so I had two people to help me serve and bus the tables once Marty pooped out. Tomorrow is our 17th anniversary, and we are going to our friends' house for a crab feed to celebrate with all our besties. It sure is nice to have a great friend with his own fishing boat. He will pull the crab pots right out of the ocean tomorrow, and we'll be eating it within hours! So yummy!

I'm glad things are moving along there, but know how frustrating jumping through all those hoops can be (it's like you're giving them the same info over & over).

My kids loved being out in the snow the 3 years we lived in Michigan. I liked it too. Just not 6 months of it. lol

Marty's back is finally getting better.

Good news! Ruben's is slooooowly starting to improve as well. Mainly really bothers him at night or early morning. During the day when he's up and about it seems okay, or so he says.
I told him not to push it too much too soon.
It's funny, Ruben rarely gets hurt or sick. I can count on one hand how many times he's called in sick since we've been married, but when something does happen, it's usually bad.
