hhmmm... where are the bleach spots on the sweatshirt.. what's the theme of the sweatshirt? can't you decorate over the spots?

It's hard to believe that this time next week my DH and i will have spent the first day of our trip at Disneyland.

Just wanted to stop by and say Hi. The pet pictures are adorable. We're getting lab sometime in Feb. I'll admit I'm not a dog person all that much but I love labs. I'll post pictures when we have him.

I hope you all are having a great weekend. Don't forget that tonight The Amazing Race premieres. YAY!!! Also today there are 2 different Amazing Race marathons on. One is the All Stars season (on Fox Reality) and the other is season 12 (on Travel Channel).

As promised, once I found some time I said I would post pics of my puppies. Well, I guess they aren't puppies anymore. Harrison is about 4 year old Tibetian Terrier and Izzie is about 2 year old Maltese. Both were rescues from the Orange County Animal Shelter.

I am soooo p.o.'d right now! My dh just got a new sweatshirt and I tried it on today...loved the fit, loved the color, loved the length...everything! Then I went to clean my house to get ready for a friend who will be living with us for a while, and somehow I got BLEACH! on it! That's right...I wear it for 3 hours, fall in love with it, and it is taken away...and to top it off, it was my DH's sweatshirt! So I didn't just ruin the sweatshirt I was going to take from him, I ruined HIS sweatshirt! I am just fuming! I am so disappointed!

Oh Sarah I've done that myself before. I did that with my favorite pair on sneakers when I was in collage. They were blue canvas with Tweety Bird on the front. Somehow bleach got on them and ate right through them and they weren't sold anymore. Here's giving you lots of hugs. I feel your pain

Hi ladies! Well, here I sit drowning my sorrows in Gnarly Head Old Vine Zinfendel wine (yep the same kind we had at DCA Wine festival in April).

I spent the last two days cleaning my house from top to bottom. My house has never been so spotless. We had an open house today and I wanted the place to be perfect. Well, the upshot? NOT ONE PERSON walked into our house (well, except for the realtor).

I'm just sick, and on my third glass of wine. I can't believe I wasted so much time for nothing. Nobody even can see how prestine my house is. I should have known that after the disasterous financial week on Wall Street, and Media screaming the "D" word at us, that no one would be shopping for houses today.

Ugh, anyway, that was my weekend. Hope everyone else had some fun. I sure didn't.

Well Callie, you do have a clean house to drown your sorrows in!
Open houses do tend to be a big waste of time. Have you considered doing any sort of seller financing? Buying the rate down for the buyer to make the payment more affordable? Advertising a lease option and then trying to help convert the buyer into a purchase? All of these require a really savvy mortgage broker/realtor team to help you figure out how to leverage the equity that you have.

Oh! I ordered some books through the disney on line....you know, personalized ones for my kids, and they are SOOOOOO COOOOLLLLL! I am just thrilled with how they turned out! My kids are going to love them!

My sister, who is an agent up here in the Seattle area had her car broken into last night for the 3rd time this year. Her GPS and Realtor key were stolen amongst other things. She has not had a sale for 6 months, and is a single Mom.

Oh man. I'm sorry for you sister. Geez, three times.
Times are tough. It's so scary. I was just talking to my Grandma on Saturday and she said they are closing a plant in their town. About 400 workers will be laid off. That town is too small, and jobs are too scarce already to have 400 more people looking for work!!

And here in Vegas, two large car dealerships shut down. No warning, just told their workers go home. They called the ones who were off that day and said don't come back tomorrow. That effected about 400 workers, from sales to repairs, etc. Sucks.

I'm sorry. At least your house is clean. I always feel better when my house is clean. And like Cheryl said, there is still hope. People are still buying. It might take a little longer, but it will happen. Hang in there.

Thank you! I think it was more a lack of Red Bull and candy corn that did it to me. My body didn't understand not having sugar for blood and freaked out on me.
