yeah yeah i'm # 50 on the list..that is a good number to be!

It's so funny I showed my husband the sight.. and then made him read the inital post of this thread to see some of the pictures... and while he was reading he started smiling and then told me...you should go, babe.. you will have a great time..they seem like fun girls.

So right after that i booked it. How sweet, right!

Is there a post that says how old everyone is? or where everyone is coming from?

When i fly out i transfer through either phoenix or vegas.. so if anyone is going and flying through these airports... pm me and i can book a flight that matches yours so we can have a friend on the plane.. plus someone to travel from airport to hotel with.

Thank you, Beth for all your time in planning this. What a nice thing to give a gift to so many.

Aww, that's great. I'm glad he was so willing to let you go. And they are fun girls!! :thumbsup2

I don't have a post that shows everyone's ages. That might not go over to well with everyone. :scared1: :lmao: But hey, at Disney we are all kids right? :yay:

As for locations I might be able to put something together. Most people have them in their locations under their avatar. I trying to think....we've got people from CA, NV, AZ, WA, ID, and......hmmmm, I think that's the majority. I actually think you might be coming the furthest.

Oh, and you don't have to thank me. All I did was get the ball rolling. Every one here has helped to keep it going and keep the excitement up so we will have another awesome trip! :woohoo:

Isn't that pathetic? Oh well--tomorrow's another day . . . as for today . . . I'm going to Disneyland!@!!!!!!!

My Mom had her last radiation treatment this week, so we (i.e., me) are splurging and I'm taking her to stay two nights at the Grand Californian. (Of course, I got a great AP7 rate).

I came in early this morning to get some things done and am leaving now . . . it's kinda cloudy and overcast--LOVE IT! Hope it stays this way.

So now I'm running home to throw my stuff in a suitcase and get on the road (she is probably there by now).

So everyone have a great weekend and I'll check in Sunday! :goodvibes

Beth, that smilie is hilarious! I laughed out loud when I saw it. LOL! :lmao:

How about Bedknobs and Broomsticks? Swiss Family Robinson? The Love Bug? The Monkey's Uncle? That Darn Cat? Mary Poppins? Thomasina?

Ok...............I looked back on the list, and realized you were only mentioning animated ones. Sorry!
I know, I love that smilie! I used to have it in my sig at one point and it would crack me up everytime I saw it. LOL

Of those movies you listed I think I've only seen Swiss Family Robinson. I love that movie. I had the biggest crush on one of the boys. Not the oldest with the blonde hair, the middle one with dark hair.

Oh, and don't worry about the list. I just Googled Disney movies and copied any list I found. There are so many more movies out there. I haven't even seen the sequels. For example, I've seen Aladdin and I really like it, but I've never seen any of the sequels to it. :confused3

:scared1: You've never seen Little Mermaid??? Or Aladdin?? Or Lion King?? :sad2: I can't believe it.
On the bright side, your making me look better and better. ;)

Have a wonderful time. You are so sweet to take your mom. :goodvibes I hope the weather stays cool and the crowds are low. :wizard:

Wendy, why did I think you were older too? :confused3 Isn't it funny how sometimes we percieve things?

How about Bedknobs and Broomsticks? Swiss Family Robinson? The Love Bug? The Monkey's Uncle? That Darn Cat? Mary Poppins? Thomasina?

Thomasina was one of my favorites! What about, In Search of the Castaways, that was another favorite of mine.

Maybe I am older and am just in denial. :confused3

What an awesome husband you have!

I guess everyone else knows my age better then I do, so I'll have to ask somebody else how old I am. ;)

Cheryl!!!! Tsk, tsk! I'm almost more disappointed in you then I am with Beth!

Hope everyone is having a great day! :goodvibes

If you have seen Thomasina, and In Search of the Castaways, then I am really beginning to wonder how old you are. Humm?????????? Of course a 23 year old could have seen these movies and loved them as much as me. How about Pollyana? I used to love Haley Mills. I wanted to be like her, English accent and all!

Oh and how could I forget Parent Trap, the original??

The list could go on and on........................

By the way, I am a young Disney loving 52 year old mom of 4, and 2 grandsons. I love every ride except Maliboomer, the Evil Gondolas, Tea Cups, and sad to say, now Mulholland Madness. The last time was not good.

My favorite rides are ToT, Soarin, Space, Indy, Pirates, Splash, Thunder, and I even like Screamin. Although that is one I can't go on more than 2 times at once. My neck and stomach start to hurt. :rolleyes1

I live in the flat valley land of Central California, just close enough to DL that I still can get the So Cal rate!! :cool1: The beautiful Sierra Nevadas are right by us.

Oh and my name is Melody.:flower3:

I loved Pollyana too! It was always so hard to watch though, because it would really upset me when she fell, and she fell everytime I watched the movie! :lmao:

Not only am I 23, but I'm also a guy. HAHAHA, fooled you all, take that Beth!!

OK, I'm not a guy, but wouldn't that make for a great twist?

I know we talked about this before, but for the life of me I cannot remember where you are again? I know we talked about it because we also talked about Pismo and how you like to go there too.
Were you up near Fresno?

Well, if you were a 23 year old guy, I'd actually feel sorry for you hanging out with about fifty older moms and wives. :rotfl:

Ok now I have to tell you about something my Sis said to me last year.

Last year when I was orignially going on the ladies trip, my Sister was coming too. Well then she and her DH decided to go on a nice Anniversary cruise and she couldn't do both.

So then I told her that it was Ok,, that I will just room with one of the ladies. She was a little concerned that I would be rooming with someone I barely knew. And then she preceded to ask me, "What if the lady is really a guy dressed up as a girl?" LOL!!! :lmao:
This still makes me laugh! :rotfl2:

I know she was just being protective, and I also understand the we Ladies are having an "internet meeting," which I know to some is a little out there. Geesh, even my family thought I was a little out there too!

Now they are just used to it. :rolleyes1

I'm very relieved to know that you are Wendy, and not Wendal! ;)

You've never fully seen Snow White?? OK now that's bad. :rotfl: We own that one. But I almost never watch it. Her voice kind of bugs me. lol

I remember those books with the tapes!! OMG, I loved those. :goodvibes

"This is the story of The Rescuers. You can read along with me in your book. You'll know it's time to turn the page when you hear the chimes ring like this: (ring). Let's begin now."

:rotfl:

:lmao: Thank you! I was hesitant to mention that I could not stand Snow White's singing voice. It just sounded like she was drowning. :rotfl:

I love those Disney read-along books on tape too. I used to have tons of them when I was a kid. I also grew up on Wee-Sing songs and VHS tapes. :rotfl:

Don't feel sorry for me, just be creeped out. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

OMG, that is so funny!!!! Hey, you never know. Some of those men dressed as women are pretty hot and I can't tell the difference sometimes!!!

I'm thinking the next thing we need to do is have the newbies send in their pictures.

What say you??
GOOD IDEA!!! Post those pics newbies! :rotfl:

This is me!:
